Job Description:

Summary of Position 

Assists Finance Director in providing leadership and coordination of organization’s financial planning, budget management and fiscal and accounting activity.  Primarily responsible for maintenance of general ledger including account analysis on all accounts and preparation of monthly financial statements.

Essential Functions: 

• Responsible for maintaining the general ledger and integration from subsidiary ledger with the goal to meet established time frames for month/year end closing.
• Responsible for producing monthly financial statements and monitoring and analyzing monthly operating results against budget and reports on variances.
• Performs and directs account analysis on all balance sheet accounts and assigned revenue and expense accounts attesting to and validating financial results
• Coordinates with Clinical Management and Revenue Cycle Management to maximize efficiency and accuracy of data in Athena and what is reported in General Ledger in conjunction with Finance Director.
• Assists with the development of Financial Planning and Budget along with generation of Budget Revisions.
• Assists with the preparation of the annual Financial Audit Reports and Schedules, and Other Agency Reporting.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
