• Serve as property custodian maintaining a perpetual inventory of non-expendable property and supply records for durable items in the school.
• Assist Area and District personnel with physical security inspections to ensure adequate security measures are in place and adhered to.
• Assure all supply transactions are recorded in an automated system and that copies of documents are file appropriately to maintain an adequate automated and hard-copy audit trail.
• Set or revise stock levels for authorized items available through the supply system.
• Assist in monitoring the school safety and security programs to ensure compliance with program requirements of DoDEA and the supporting military installation.

Job Title: Child Care Lecturer

Location: North London

Hours: 5 Days a week (23 Hours)

Start: ASAP

Length of contract: on going

Payrate - £30 - £35 per hour

Role Specific

1. Plan, Develop and Deliver Effective Lessons -

1. Plan, develop and deliver appropriate lessons, in line with programme delivery
2. guidelines to ensure that learners are fully engaged and supported to meet their
3. learning goals, the subject matter is contextualised and relevant technologies are
4. employed.
5. Prepare, develop and update course, learning and assessment material in
6. accordance with College plans, policies and procedures and, in liaison with Content Development Specialists, ensure that these are available to students and colleagues on the Virtual Learning Environment to facilitate a high quality learning experience.
7. Undertake relevant College quality assurance activities such as verification and
8. participate in quality assurance activities such as audits in order that standards are
9. maintained in accordance with College and external body requirements.
10. Contribute constructively to self-evaluation reviews, course committee meetings,
11. good practice events and implement actions identified in order to achieve
12. continuous quality improvement in relation to the learner experience.
13. Set, assess and mark formative and summative assignments and assessments and complete the resulting and administration relating to these accurately and within 3 designated timescales so that College and awarding body standards and
14. procedures are met.
15. Provide subject specific guidance and learning support to students including
16. implementing reasonable adjustments for students with disabilities and ensure that
17. learning support records are kept in order that students are fully supported to
18. achieve their learning goals.
19. Take responsibility for own health and safety and that of others by observing College health and safety policies and procedures, implementing safe working practices, undertaking risk assessments (where appropriate), integrating health and safety issues into lessons as appropriate and reporting faults, accidents, incidents and breaches of health and safety so that a safe environment is maintained for learners, staff and visitors
20. Maintain up to date knowledge of and implement College child protection policies
21. and procedures, report concerns and provide accurate information to the Child
22. Protection and Schools Liaison Co-ordinator in order that any issues are addressed appropriately and expeditiously.

1. Undertake appropriate continuing professional development to ensure that
2. academic knowledge, teaching approaches and vocational skills are up to date so
3. that students receive high quality training that reflects current industry practice.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

1. Degree or equivalent qualification (SCQF Level 9) in childhood practice,

education or early years

2. Up to date experience in childcare and early years education
3. Teaching or training experience
4. Teaching qualification
5. Assessment experience
6. Assessment qualification
