Training Administration
This position functions as the ADP/Computer Literacy Education Coordinator responsible to develop and present training products/courses associated with all Education Programs and Projects facility wide. It has responsibilities related to the Student Training Program, Training and Travel Program and functions as the TMS administrator. The work involves coordination of user/training center and audio-video-conferences; assuring that materials and presentations are developed and coordinated to provide for employee education. Employee provides annual needs assessments to determine both current training needs as well as to assess outcomes of provided training initiatives.
Student Training Program
This position supports the student training program which is inclusive of:
- Verification of documentation for prospective students, interns and trainees.
- Receiving, processing, fingerprinting, PIV sponsoring and requesting computer access to 500+ new students annually.
- Inputting demographic information into the New Person File of over 500 new students annually.
Travel and Training Program - Backup for the processing of all training requests (SF-182).
- Prepare report for Training and Travel Committee.
- Input information into Training and Travel Database.
TMS Administrator - Create courses.
- Reset passwords.
- Responsible for TMS reports.
Program Administration This position is the Assistant to the Director of Education, Designated Learning Officer (DLO). The incumbent works collectively with the DLO to develop a mutually acceptable plan which typically includes identification of the assignments, the deadline for completion of the assignment and expected outcomes. The incumbent works independently, planning, designing and carrying out assignments after receiving appropriate instructions on any new or unusual assignments. The employee determines the objectives, scope and subject to be covered and designs evaluation criteria to ensure that outcomes are evident.
This position is responsible for the coordination and tracking of Human Resources Management issues including position descriptions, organizational charts, and personnel actions. Incumbent assist supervisory personnel and office workers within CL&DO with issues concerning employee relations, training, disciplinary actions, and other administrative functions. This position accesses personal, confidential and sensitive material, and exercises a high degree of discretion and tact with respect to the confidential nature of these materials, while recognizing the need for access by certain officials. This position coordinates staff position reviews and performance plans, and is responsible for the programs emergency and safety plans and maintains the DLO calendar.
This position manages a wide variety of correspondence from within and outside the department and decides how to handle. Will review and either: respond to the correspondence, or route it to the proper staff member or consult with others prior to responding. This position drafts initial or final correspondence and monitor such correspondence to ensure that actions taken are completed accurately and appropriate procedures are followed.
This position will also oversee all logistics planning and preparation of meetings, including scheduling, mailings, and ensuring attendance by required individuals. It overseas the preparation and distribution of approved meeting minutes and ensures that all agenda and meeting materials are available for the meeting as required.
Financial Awareness & Fiscal Responsibility - Purchase card holder - purchase all materials for CL&DO.
- Approving official for purchase card.
- Responsible for monitoring all CL&DO FCP.
- Responsible for analyzing, collating and submitting annual department budget.
- Approving/Certifying Official for all 1358 and 2237s obligations for Tuition Reimbursement, Tuition Support (College) and Honorariums.
- Responsible for payment of college tuition for all NNEI/ESIP recipients.

Supervision Disposition supervisors lower-level staff. The incumbent is responsible for time and attendance, performance appraisals and competencies.
May perform other duties of a related nature as assigned.
