• As a Research Psychologist, you will perform the following duties which is not an all-inclusive list:
• Communicate and inform Army leaders at the 4-star level concerning research outcomes and best practices to ensure a strategic understanding of the nuance and application of human performance optimization research.
• Apply appropriate statistical and analytic procedures to achieve empirical solutions to optimize Soldier physical performance.
• The incumbent will provide subject matter expertise to develop, direct, implement, coordinate and oversee empirical research designed to optimize Soldier and unit physical readiness and reduce injuries and attrition.
• Initiate programmatic changes to the U.S. Army physical readiness training and assessment doctrine and independently make changes to the Army’s program of instruction to reflect best practices in physical fitness training and health promotion.

• Serve as a Staff Operations and Training Specialist in an Army Reserve Brigade or equivalent sized unit.
• Provide technical guidance to subordinate elements, higher headquarters, and general staff members on mobilization training plans.

• As a Strategic Operations Analyst, you will perform duties to include but not limited to the following:
• Apply qualitative and quantitative analytical techniques to resolve issues within functional programs.

• Provides instruction for approximately 30 different courses in the Program of Instruction (POI) for students and newly assigned personnel.
• Prepares the Training Schedule and modifies the schedule due to unforeseen or short-notice changes to training facility (ies), lack of equipment, or mission requirements.
• The POI covers special operations communications techniques and equipment. The subject matter includes procedures, theory, technical information and equipment operation.
• Provides written evaluations and recommendations to the Supervisor. Operates civilian and military vehicles with an average GVW of 10,000 pounds to transport personnel and equipment.

• Manage property book records to include property acquired by purchase, lease, rental, transfer, manufacture, etc.
• Assist in maintaining the property book which is a record of all property authorized by the Table of Distribution and Allowances (TDA) and Common Tables of Allowances such as CTA 50-909, and CTA 50-970.
• Serve as Government Purchase Card (GPC) holder. Make purchases from approved vendors and on the open market in accordance with applicable Department of the Army and organization policies and procedures.
• Ensure controls are effectively in place to prevent fraud, waste, abuse and mismanagement. Monthly, reconcile bank statement and provides all documentation to billing official.
• Ensure procedures are followed in initiating procurement actions, funds are certified as available, and required approvals are obtained and documented.
• Initiate inventories of property at periodic intervals. Reconcile discrepancies by reviewing the property book posting with transaction documents for errors; initiate turn-in slips to adjust to adjust discrepancy.
• Initiate change of hand receipt holder and change of PBO inventories. Maintain property accounting records for non-expendable items in accordance with current regulations. Prepare issue, turn-in, and other transaction documents.
• Maintain transaction history and corresponding supporting voucher files and make necessary posting to the property accountability records. Maintain a variety of manual and automated files. Compile information and prepares a variety of reports.
• Provide technical support to Hand Receipt Holders (HRHs) and customers. Assure HRH and management officials are informed and trained in pertinent governing regulations, procedures and guidelines relative to hand receipt responsibility.
• Schedule and coordinate annual wall-to-wall inventory for all property book items with the hand receipt holders. Initiate and assist hand receipt holders in completing reports of survey in the event of lost or damaged non-expendable items.
• Conduct fleet management functions. Monitor assigned government vehicles. Ensure vehicles are properly dispatched and maintenance services are performed.

• Develop and defend assessment reports internally to the Office of the Army Deputy Chief of Staff (Operations and Plans).

DUTY 1:
Perform career broadening assignments working with senior analyst in planning, organizing, and directing logistics programming support for identified systems/programs. This includes the development, review, validation, and substantiation of current and long-range logistics requirements to support worldwide mission objectives. Develops, coordinates, and issues comprehensive guidance and procedures to be used by subordinate commands and field activities in the execution of budget/buy/modification/maintenance support for these systems/programs. Plans and conducts studies, and develops input for logistics policies and procedural systems applied throughout the MAJCOM. Develops logistics guidance and criteria for timely and cost effective life cycle support and implementation. Studies operational procedures and work methods involving interface with logistics support related to maintenance, distribution, and other technical requirement. Provides advisory assistance and interface with other activities. Develops and reviews metrics to accurately monitor the health of support equipment programs. Performs predictive analysis of capability impacts under varying funding levels.

DUTY 2:
Serves as a team member performing career broadening assignments involved in programming, prioritizing and defending key logistics programs in support of the warfighting objectives of the Air Force. Prepares, executes, and manages one or more programs for AMC sustainment. Develops and justify budget estimates and reviews procedures and techniques to be used in the buy/budget program proposals and evaluations. Evaluates OSD and agency logistics guidelines and instructions to determine necessary changes in requirements computations, logistics planning, etc. Issues initial and revised procurement authorizations covering the fending elves managed. Participates in the analysis of the progress and status of directed programs. Initiates reprogramming actions when necessary. Analyzes and assesses operating logistics programs in order to correlate resource requirements to achieve plans and objectives. Conducts/directs investigations and studies to respond to Congress, GAO, AF Inspector General, or other agencies.

DUTY 3:
Carries out special projects and assignments designed specifically to meet the broadening intent of the position. Represents the concerns of the organization at meetings and conferences preparing staff studies and various documents to meet special needs. Develops and presents oral presentations; leading and/or serving on steering committees or completing a project aimed at improving organizational effectiveness. Provides responsive and timely support to customers, actively supports achievement of financial program goals and objectives. Along with all other correctional institution employees, incumbent is charged with responsibility for maintaining security of the institution. The staff correctional responsibilities precede all others required by this position and are performed on a regular and recurring basis.
