We are looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer

As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, you are someone who has significant expertise in both machine learning and software engineering. You will be working with our engineering and product teams to design, build and productionise proprietary machine learning models to solve different business challenges including smart bidding, lookalike modelling, forecasting, etc.

About the Role:

• Collaborate closely with product managers and other engineers to understand business priorities, frame machine learning problems, and architect machine learning solutions.
• Build and productionise machine learning models including data preparation/processing pipelines, machine learning orchestrations, improvements of services performance and reliability and etc.
• Contribute and maintain the high quality of the code base with tests that provide a high level of functional coverage as well as non-functional aspects with load testing, unit testing, integration testing, etc.
• Keep track of emerging tech and trends, research the state-of-art deep learning models, prototype new modelling ideas, and conduct offline and online experiments.

About You:

• PhD in Machine Learning [Nice to have]
• Extensive knowledge in and experience with some of the following areas - Bayesian methods, Recommender systems, multi-task modelling, meta-learning, click through rate modelling or conversion rate modelling.
• 3+ years of industry experience in building production-grade machine learning systems with all aspects of model training, tuning, deploying, serving and monitoring.
• Experience with Kubeflow (or similar), Tensorflow and Feature Store in a production environment is a massive plus.
• Bonus points if you are familiar with any of the following architectures or have experience with the models mentioned in this benchmark: DCNV2, MMOE, Deep & Wide, ESMM, xDeepFM, and GDCN.

Airbus Asia Training Centre (AATC) is looking to hire an administration professional for our Business Operations Department, on a 6-month contract. • Administration:

• Security:

  • Observe and look out for any IT related issues on site or improvement needed. 

  • Support AATC staff in any IT related issue. Issues unable to solve, encouraged to raise ServiceNow ticket or proceed to Tech Bar for assistance. 

• Procurement:

  • To process all Purchase Request from Business Operations staff to Purchase Order

  • Ensure all supporting documents uploaded, PR raised are tally and justified. Any cost differences are to clarify with the requestor. Encourage staff to negotiate with suppliers on price differences.

  • To process New Vendor Requests (KYS). Ensure all documents provided are sufficient before applying to the SMDA team. Once approved, the vendor requests to forward to the finance team for the SAP creation process. 

  • Aging report from finance, to follow up with customers on payment. 

• Duty Manager:

  • To process Duty Manager monthly allowances

  • Ensure all DM processes and information required are provided for their duty. 

  • Conduct quarterly or semi annual meeting to discuss on past experience, process and feedbacks from both DM and staff

  • Open communication between DM and staff to understand both needs and challenges

As a key office anchored in the vibrant research culture and environment within NTU, we are seeking a Senior Executive Officer in Research Grant Administration to bolster the collective effort to consolidate and further advance NTU’s research standing and capabilities. He/she will support NTU faculty so that they can conduct their research effectively with compliance to regulations governing research fund management.

You will support in the administration of research grants and other research-related matters handled by the NTU Research Support Office. This includes coordination of grant calls with the Colleges and Schools in the University, assisting researchers and faculty in their grant submission and grant post award activities like reporting submissions, assisting researchers to understand grant agencies’ guidelines and coordination of review panel meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administrative support for various NRF grants

• Support in NRF grant calls including drafting of grant call announcement faculty, advising PIs and school administrators on funding guidelines, work processes and grant call opportunities

• Provide guidance to faculty and school administrators to better understand the grant requirements through checklists or guide or standardized forms

• Facilitate on the budget scrubbing process prior to the award of the project

• Coordinate internal review panel meeting to shortlist proposals, when required

• Assist awarded PIs with their letters of acceptence and facilitating research account opening

• Support the team to manage post award requests from faculty for their research grants (i.e. variation requests, report submissions), in accordance to the T&Cs of the research grants awarded)

• Provide support and guidance for RISE (Research Information System)

• Support in preparation of reports and statistical data

• Involve in any ad-hoc initiatives undertaken by the Office

Requirements:

• A Bachelor/Honours degree from recognised university with at least 1 to 2 years’ relevant work experience

• Preference will be given to candidates who have held administrative positions in a central office within a large organization and has a flair for communicating complex concepts via infographics or other visual means.

• Has high competency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint and others)

• Possess excellent writing, communication and interpersonal skills

• Excellent organizational, time management and planning skills

• Highly motivated individual with strong analytic skills, a keen eye for details, can multi-task and work independently and is a fast learner. 

• At least 2-3 years’ experience in business intelligence, consultancy, or data research
• At least 2-3 years’ experience in an editorial or analytical role
• Proven experience in analysing complex company financial data and company due diligence, and making consistent assessments of a company’s financial standing

Job Description

• Produce an agreed number of credit reports per month against volume and timeliness KPI and support the Credit Risk Team Lead – APAC to ensure the regional and global targets are met
• Actively research and analyse companies, shipping, and financial markets as well as other relevant data and information to make confident and concise credit risk judgements while displaying knowledge and integrity
• Support the Credit Team Lead in training and onboarding Credit Report Analysts, mentoring and coaching junior colleagues, and contribute to training materials and process improvements
• Grow and maintain a network of contacts via phone and email by engaging in proactive information exchange, acting as a brand ambassador of Lloyd’s List Intelligence
• Ensure that any critical and non-critical errors in output are flagged and escalated accordingly
• Support the Credit Risk Management Team by being a regional go-to person for company analysis SME and therefore attend client calls when required alongside sales and/or product management, and when required support our account managers on networking events and relevant conferences
• Stay abreast of market news and new Seasearcher product developments and functionality covered in Go to Markets and continually develop your understanding of the maritime industry to enable high quality writing on the profile of the company
• Foster collaboration and share information with other in-house data teams that research company ownership structures, to optimise the quality of data

• At least 2-3 years’ experience in business intelligence, consultancy, or data research
• At least 2-3 years’ experience in an editorial or analytical role
• Proven experience in analysing complex company financial data and company due diligence, and making consistent assessments of a company’s financial standing
• Proficiency in written and spoken English
• A customer-first approach and strong time management skills and ability to produce high quality content within set deadlines
• Ability to compile training methodology and feedback documents to drive output enhancements is a pre-requisite
• Advanced OSINT research skills is a requirement
• Strong stakeholder management is required in this role, across all areas of the business
• A flexible, can-do attitude with the ability to manage several ongoing tasks at any one time
