Duties to be split between two positions -

Point of contact for all students and visitors to the Learning & Development (L&D) (Southwick Park). Provide assistance and support to all trainers and students as and when required.

Provide admin support to L&D portfolio staff and to provide practical support to DSPS admin team by taking responsibility for resource bookings at Southwick Park.
Record all books/paperwork onto database. Create and maintain asset register for all resources and equipment within L&D. Book in/out all training equipment including breathalysers and airwave radios. Conduct regular audits and report any discrepancies.
Issue and destruction of warrant cards including taking photos and uploading onto database, recording information and printing cards. Maintaining a warrant card database of all actions taken.
Receipt and issue laptops to recruits. To maintain database of laptops received into L&D (SP) and issued to Recruits.
Maintain work service database report all faults and act as point of contact for contractors for maintenance and repairs within L&D (SP) including all electrical equipment and photocopiers. Act as L&D (SP) fire warden, duties include daily health and safety checks of the training centre, monitoring of firefighting equipment and emergency exits. Monthly check first aid boxes to ensure they are fully stocked.

1) Support for pupils

• Help pupils to develop into independent learners to ensure they make good progress with their learning, as well as emotional well-being.

3) SEN Administration support

• Help with the preparation of reports, assessments, and other relevant documentation.

This Training Specialist position is located at Memphis International Airport (MEM), Transportation Security Administration, Department of Homeland Security (DHS). As a Training Instructor, you will:

• Demonstrate a strong ability to communicate in writing for the purpose of preparing educational content, instructor and participant training materials, interactive exercises, case studies, scenarios, workshops, evaluative reports, and proposals for new or modified training.
• Design, develop, and instruct highly interactive training using adult learning principles and instructional design methods to employees and managers to advance their knowledge and understanding of leadership and supervisory skills and competencies.
• Conduct highly interactive instruction using blended learning formats, to include classroom, video-conference, and web-conference based instruction.
• Conduct formative and summative course evaluations to ensure content and construct validity and transfer of learning. Ensure course learning objectives, organizational training requirements, and agency mission and goals are validated and incorporated into the course design process.
• Facilitate focus groups, team-building, and strategic planning sessions. Coordinate facilitation services for technical subject matter areas.

Training Administration
This position functions as the ADP/Computer Literacy Education Coordinator responsible to develop and present training products/courses associated with all Education Programs and Projects facility wide. It has responsibilities related to the Student Training Program, Training and Travel Program and functions as the TMS administrator. The work involves coordination of user/training center and audio-video-conferences; assuring that materials and presentations are developed and coordinated to provide for employee education. Employee provides annual needs assessments to determine both current training needs as well as to assess outcomes of provided training initiatives.
Student Training Program
This position supports the student training program which is inclusive of:

• Verification of documentation for prospective students, interns and trainees.
• Receiving, processing, fingerprinting, PIV sponsoring and requesting computer access to 500+ new students annually.
• Inputting demographic information into the New Person File of over 500 new students annually.

Travel and Training Program

• Backup for the processing of all training requests (SF-182).
• Prepare report for Training and Travel Committee.
• Input information into Training and Travel Database.

TMS Administrator

• Create courses.
• Reset passwords.
• Responsible for TMS reports.

Program Administration
This position is the Assistant to the Director of Education, Designated Learning Officer (DLO). The incumbent works collectively with the DLO to develop a mutually acceptable plan which typically includes identification of the assignments, the deadline for completion of the assignment and expected outcomes. The incumbent works independently, planning, designing and carrying out assignments after receiving appropriate instructions on any new or unusual assignments. The employee determines the objectives, scope and subject to be covered and designs evaluation criteria to ensure that outcomes are evident.

This position is responsible for the coordination and tracking of Human Resources Management issues including position descriptions, organizational charts, and personnel actions. Incumbent assist supervisory personnel and office workers within CL&DO with issues concerning employee relations, training, disciplinary actions, and other administrative functions. This position accesses personal, confidential and sensitive material, and exercises a high degree of discretion and tact with respect to the confidential nature of these materials, while recognizing the need for access by certain officials. This position coordinates staff position reviews and performance plans, and is responsible for the programs emergency and safety plans and maintains the DLO calendar.

This position manages a wide variety of correspondence from within and outside the department and decides how to handle. Will review and either: respond to the correspondence, or route it to the proper staff member or consult with others prior to responding. This position drafts initial or final correspondence and monitor such correspondence to ensure that actions taken are completed accurately and appropriate procedures are followed.

This position will also oversee all logistics planning and preparation of meetings, including scheduling, mailings, and ensuring attendance by required individuals. It overseas the preparation and distribution of approved meeting minutes and ensures that all agenda and meeting materials are available for the meeting as required.

Supervision
Disposition supervisors lower-level staff. The incumbent is responsible for time and attendance, performance appraisals and competencies.
