• Represent the workforce and education sector on cancer pathway boards, ensuring education strategies reflect ACCEND and national priorities.
• Develop partnerships with pharmaceutical companies, ensuring income generation through ABPI-compliant educational modules and activities that support the Cancer Academy's goals.
• Oversee the delivery of third-party donations and grants, ensuring compliance and alignment with strategic education objectives.



Set-up and organisation
• Oversee the preparation of agendas, papers, and action logs, holding members accountable for actions and tracking progress against objectives.
• Foster relationships across Greater Manchester, including with primary, secondary, community, and social care providers, HEIs, and public and patient engagement groups.
• Monitor and manage programme dashboards to evaluate the success and impact of education initiatives



Communication and support
• Become the lead contact for various education workstreams
• Lead the development of innovative proposals for education transformation projects
• Support the Senior Programme Lead for Education in development and delivery of the communications strategy effectively engaging stakeholders.
• Create reports and papers to update relevant boards and programme steering groups on programme developments and to seek approval for recommended action.
• Assist in the planning and delivery of the Greater Manchester Cancer Conference, ensuring the event supports the broader workforce and education strategy.



Data and information
• Keep up to date with research and literature from national and international sources relevant to the cancer workforce and education
• Collate data and literature into concise reports and tools and present to the Senior Programme Lead for Education, making clear recommendations for action
• In conjunction with the Senior Programme Lead for Education, review how education can be quantified to show meaningful impact on the cancer workforce.



Planning and reporting
• Manage programme plans ensuring that this contains clear objectives, tasks and identified leads
• Ensure that the work plan reflects, and contributes towards the delivery of the Cancer Academy strategy / implementation plan,
• Cancer Workforce strategy, and objectives of improved clinical care and patient experience
• Coordinate the reporting of outcome measures so that they can be monitored during the year
• Track progress against these outcome measures and provide progress reports to programme steering groups, the Cancer Academy Programme Board, and Workforce and Education Board when required
• Maintain a risk register for the relevant workstreams, reporting risks and issues to the Programme Lead and relevant boards

The Regional Assistant Retail Education Manager plays a key role in driving and animating the Makeup category, digital and client experience education strategy in Travel Retail Asia Pacific (TR APAC). • Deliver Train-the-trainer to TMs on key makeup modules including novelties, integration, professionalization, and specialization level.
• Closely follow global and regional Makeup trends, transmitting them to the field team through creation of digital content and videos.

• Design, develop, and implement training and development initiatives based on the organization's needs.
• Formulate comprehensive training plans and schedules.
• Conduct assessments to identify learning needs and adapt training approaches to meet desired outcomes and cater to various learning styles.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in education, business, human resources, information technology, or related field
• Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel), and instructional software
• Experience with technologies and best practices for instructional manuals and teaching platforms
• Strict adherence to company philosophy/mission statement/ goals
• Strong project management skills with the ability to supervise multiple projects
• Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management
• Organized and able to create multiple timelines, budgets, and schedules
• 5 days work week
• Up to $6,500

Job Description

We are looking for a Scientific Partnership and Alliance Manager. The role would be to support the Institute for Functional Intelligent Materials (I-FIM) in new scientific initiatives with new or existing partners leading to answering grant calls, initiating new scientific consortiums and subsequent management of new scientific alliances.

The job scope will cover the following aspects:

Solicitation, networking and events

• Support the Director in reaching out to partners soliciting interest in partnerships
• Organise networking symposiums and discussion platforms
• Communicate with partners and align with partnership goals
• Match and track partnerships that lead to concrete projects

White paper

• Prepare white papers to launch new initiatives reaching out to partners soliciting interest in partnerships
• Discuss with research partners on contribution, requirements, deliverables and goals

Grantsmanship support, proposal crafting and post-award management

• Support Directors, PIs, and partners with proposal writing and collate preliminary data
• Work on references, editorial and proof reading
• Compile proposals with inputs on budget and CVs (working in partnership with I-FIM's research administrator)

Liaison with funding agencies and NUS Office of Deputy President for Research and Technology (ODPRT)

• Lead discussions with various funding agencies (Singapore and overseas) in securing funding for agreed research initiatives
• Collaborate with NUS and partners in setting up management framework of such research enterprise space
• Lead discussions on establishment of enterprise, space, budgetary matters, scope of research, deliverables and tracking

Management of partnerships that will involve agreements and resource planning

• Support Directors and PIs on agreements and documentation with partners (in collaboration with Admin Director)
• Work on resource planning and pledging on such agreements
• Work with NUS business office and legal counsels in crafting agreements
• Administer implementation of such agreements including reporting, invoicing, payments and cost recovery (where applicable)

Budget management and payment

• Oversee and regularly update equipment and maintenance budget and yearly procurement schedule to ensure timely utilization of allocated funds in every Financial Year of all external grant funding
• Ensure suppliers comply with terms and conditions and stick to committed delivery timelines. Engage with NUS procurement and legal teams on penalizing suppliers for extended delay in delivery.
• Perform grant virement as and when required

Project management

• Track performance of partnerships
• Write reports
• Joint conferences and symposiums
• Spring board to upscale enterprise and/or scope of alliances

Job Requirements

• PhD degree in Materials Science, Engineering or their equivalent from a reputable university
• Have at least 5 years of working experience in research administration and management
• Experience with grant writing and agreements
• Excellent command of English and communication skills
• Strong people skills
