Your Qualifications:

Registered Qualified Nurse with a valid Pin
Minimum of 2 years of leadership/management experience within a care home environment
Level 5 qualification or working towards achieving this to enable registration with Social Care Wales

The duties and responsibilities to be undertaken by members of the practice reception team may include any or all of the items in the following list. The Directorate Manager is responsible for operational and performance management, service quality and planning, resource use and modernisation. As such they are responsible, along with the Clinical Director and Head of Nursing for the leadership, direction and financial control of services. Contributing to and ensuring the delivery of strategic and operational service objectives set by the Board and the Health Board Executives. The post holder is required to work independently ensuring effective interpretation and implementation of national guidelines. Responsible for policy, service development, improvement and for the budget and physical resources for several services within the Care Group. Objectives include achievement of all national and local performance targets, local development plans and other national and local initiatives. The Directorate Manager has responsibility for the management teams. This will include the management of staff involving recruitment, appraisal, CPD and performance. They will also be responsible for the line management of all services/departments within their Directorate. Together with the Clinical Director and Head of Nursing, they will foster a culture which engages all staff in the development and delivery of the services. To deputise for the Service Director when required. Responsible for ensuring that their teams continually deliver improvements to patient services aligned to the principles of Values Based Healthcare. We are looking for a Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner to work in our ambitious Primary Care Mental Health Services. The successful applicant will need to have the relevant qualification to undertake assessments under Part 1 of the Welsh Assembly Government Mental Health Measure Do you have a genuine interest in working with people who are experiencing mental health difficulties within the primary care setting? Do you work well with individuals on a 1-1 basis and in group situations? Are you forward thinking, and highly organised?If so we would welcome an application from you. The role will involve: Assessing peoples mental health needs within a primary care setting and taking responsibility for a clinical caseload. The delivery of brief, short term and low intensity psychological interventions, based on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Solution Focused approaches, provision of information, CCBT and self-help for people with common mental health disorders and assist in the running of psycho-educational groups. Mental Health promotion involving the development of effective relationships between primary care and local communities and other services in the voluntary and statutory sector. Provision of support and advice to GPs and other primary care providers.

A core function of the HRA is the provision of guidance and advice for the research community. The post-holder, working with other members of the guidance and advice team, HRA colleagues and stakeholders, is expected to make a substantive contribution to this core function. The key responsibilities of this role are to: ensure that the HRA guidance and advice function is delivered to agreed standards. oversee and co-ordinate work delivered through this function and the team. identify opportunities for improvements and implement them. implement new systems that will support the work of the team and contribute to improving performance of the function; this may include introducing use of dedicated customer relationship management systems and new technology platforms for guidance and will require working with relevant HRA colleagues from across the organisation. fulfil the leadership role for the team and represent the guidance and advice function at governance meetings and in programmes/projects. The post-holder will be expected to: oversee the ongoing review, revision, and continual improvement of existing guidance, this will include activity identified within team, requested by colleagues internal and external to the HRA and/or identified through user feedback. oversee the development and implementation of new guidance, ensuring involvement of relevant colleagues, external partners, and stakeholders. This includes preparation of high quality, user-friendly and accurate guidance in a range of formats, covering a variety of topics and remits. manage the team, prioritising / re-prioritising work as required, ensuring that this small team works as effectively and efficiently as possible. ensure that the relevant policies and procedures are followed, identifying any issues and implementing corrective actions as necessary. take responsibility for ensuring that the activities of the team are co-ordinated with the work of others, both internal and external to HRA, where appropriate. For example, this may include publication of guidance to co-ordinate with launch of a new approval process, system change, regulatory or policy change and any associated transition plan activity. ensure that guidance and advice needs of stakeholder groups are understood and met.
