Main Duties and Responsibilities The post holder has responsibility of delivering the following key result areas: Exercise strong practice leadership in a style and manner consistent with the companys values, sharing best practices, positively influencing colleagues at all levels, and encouraging reflective practice and a culture of continuous improvement. Drive quality improvement across the division and support the Gloucestershire service contributing towards overall objectives. Conduct observations across all services and feed improvements needed in each service development plan. Provide a leadership role in service planning, development, implementation, and coordination of all elements of the service. To develop and coordinate a team of Advisors to ensure they provide evidence based interventions to Gloucestershire residents. Line manage a team and be responsible for supervision and day to day management. Actively involved in the promotion and advertisement of the service. To support the team with their professional development ensuring audits and observations are scheduled regularly. To and ensure weekly/monthly updates are provided to the Head of Service. Effectively work with the data team, Heads of Service, and Project leads to ensure the data for all services demonstrate clear outcomes. Work with the Professional leads to embed the integrated service strategy across all services. Work collaboratively with key stakeholders in the community, primary care, and secondary care to ensure a seamless referral pathway and feedback system is adhered to and improved where necessary. Input to multi -disciplinary meetings as required. Work in partnership with primary care, secondary care, and community stakeholders to disseminate information and deliver campaigns. Increase referrals by promoting and communicating with other professionals. Contribute to the social values of the service. Work within agreed boundaries and relevant policies and standard operating procedures. Plan and organise workloads effectively Ensure robust client records are up to date at all times. Job Title - GDASS Gloucester Multi Agency Team (GMAT) Support Worker

Location - Gloucester

Salary - £28,800.00 (+ £750.00 Car Allowance) per annum

Contract type - Fixed Term to 30/06/2025 subject to extension

About the role

Working for Gloucestershire Domestic Abuse Support Service (GDASS - part of GreenSquareAccord) www.gdass.org.uk, GDASS provides support to victims of domestic abuse (16+) living in Gloucestershire.

In addition to a range of support services, GDASS also operate a helpline.

We are currently recruiting for a GMAT Support Worker to join Gloucestershire Domestic Abuse Support Service (GDASS) on a fixed term full time basis.

The post is co-located with the multi-disciplinary team based at Children`s Social Care (GMAT) including staff from drug and alcohol, housing support, mental health, adult education and youth support services. The post holder will be expected to complete domestic abuse risk assessments and support people wo are, or who have been experiencing domestic abuse.

The role will work closely with social workers and family support workers in the Social Care Gloucester Multi Agency Team (GMAT) to provide a seamless multi agency service to vulnerable children and their families by providing domestic abuse safety planning and support to the families of vulnerable children..

The post holder will offer training around domestic abuse issues and share good practice with Social Care staff based at GMAT.

About you

It is essential that you are qualified and have the equivalent level of skills and experience to NVQ level 3. A Social Work or Domestic Abuse Qualification or similar would also be beneficial for this role.

You will have previous demonstrable experience of working with vulnerable people and direct experience of domestic abuse risk assessment when working with people needing support.

Previous experience of working with vulnerable children and of working with Social Services is also desirable.

A knowledge of housing law and relevant legislation and demonstrable ability and experience of liaising and working with a wide range of agencies.

You will be required to have excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills along with excellent organisational and administrative skills.
