Senior Service Lead Glasgow– 39 hours per week

£27,000 per annum

We are looking for a Senior Service Lead to join our friendly and welcoming team in Glasgow. You’ll have a really rewarding role working with a great team of people. We deliver creative, dynamic and person centred services providing a range of individualised support to our service users.

The Role

The role will be an even split between operational, administrative and staff management duties and undertaking the responsibilities of a Support Worker.

The Senior Service Lead will report directly to the Registered Locality Manager and will work closely with other senior team members to ensure the delivery of high-quality support services. Whilst on rota as a Support Worker you will provide support to our service users. You will enable them to reach their potential by providing both physical and emotional support along with encouraging them to develop positive relationships and engage with the community. You will be supporting individuals with a variety of needs: helping with finances, personal care, domestic tasks and medication.

You will regularly conduct supervisions and appraisals to monitor performance, provide feedback and support professional growth. What does a live-in carer do?
Live-in carers live with a client for the duration of their chosen work pattern. You’ll look after one person or at times a couple, following a person centred care plan where you’ll tailor your support to meet your clients’ needs. Duties are likely to include assisting with daily activities, personal care, or support in managing conditions such as dementia, but also include cooking, cleaning and ensuring the smooth running of the household. You could be working on average 8 - 10 hours per day based on your clients’ needs (please note your daily rate will vary depending on the agreed number of daily hours you are working).

We have a number of different rota patterns to choose from ranging from 4 weeks on, 2 weeks off to 10 weeks on, 2 weeks off. Depending on the rota pattern you chose and following a client’s individual care plan, you will generally provide a daily average of between 8 - 10 hours care provision to your client.

About you:
You’ll be someone who’s happy to talk, laugh and enjoy time with our clients, assisting them in their activities and encouraging them to live life to the full.

The Home...
Our devoted and compassionate team care for Residents living with a range of needs, including dementia and Parkinson’s. Each one of our Houses share the same warm, friendly atmosphere. Residents are immediately welcomed into our community and will find plenty of things to enjoy.

Your Duties...



Looking for someone with a passion for food and cooking.


To help the team maintain the highest standards or cleanliness in all kitchen areas by following the correct measures.


To help the Head chef serve food beverages and to serve this appropriately following the head chefs guidance.


To help set up the dining room, and to help maintain, once training has been given.


To undergo training once this is set up.


Ongoing progression and training into cooking the best food for our residents. The Head chef will support and guide you to become a stronger member of the team.


Work closely with all the team.


Work to minimise wastage and maximise profitability with the Head Chef support.


To wash utensils, dishes, jugs, cutlery and all other equipment used.


To clean on a daily basis with the Head chef guidance.


To inform the Head chef or Home manager of any broken equipment.


Ongoing team training and team bonding will be given.
