Position Purpose:

In this exciting position, you are responsible for developing, refining, and maintaining global Executive Compensation programs and policies with the aim of fostering global consistency and efficiency.

You contribute to shaping our Executive Compensation landscape by, including but not limited to, the development and roll-out of a global Executive Compensation Guideline, managing related programs and processes, maintaining the Management Board compensation system, regular analysis of market trends and data to derive strategic implications and relevant actions for FME within the regulatory frameworks.

In this global position, you will collaborate with various internal (e.g., HR, Accounting and Controlling, Legal, Investor Relations) and external (e.g., tax advisors, compensation consultants) stakeholders, and act as a partner to broader HR as well as the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• (Co-) Lead the development, roll-out and management of Executive Compensation programs in line with our business strategy and external market practices (e.g., definition of scope, Executive Compensation system and philosophy, design of an operating model incl. implementation, communication and change management, definition and management of related processes).
• Contribute to front to end management of all aspects in relation to the Management Board compensation system (e.g., fixed as well as short- and long-term variable compensation components, disclosure requirements and Corporate Governance, compensation benchmarks, payroll and tax, etc.).
• Continuous re-evaluation of the Executive Compensation operating model, trends and business needs to derive change requirements, including but not limited to creation of benchmarks and conduction of regular market data analyses, to ensure competitiveness and alignment with industry standards.
• Stay informed about governance trends and best practices in Executive Compensation, across geographies as relevant for Fresenius Medical Care. Ensure Executive Compensation programs comply with relevant laws and regulations.
• Creation of high-quality decision material for e.g., Senior Management, the Management Board and Supervisory Board, incl. creation of sophisticated financial models and business cases to evaluate the impact of various compensation scenarios.
• Partner with the business and other areas of Global Total Rewards and HR functions on all related matters.
• Effective stakeholder management of internal and external stakeholders (Legal, Finance, Investor Relations, external tax advisors, etc.).
• Participate in regular processes like e.g., accounting matters, the creation of the annual Compensation Report in line with legal laws and regulations incl. data collection, Annual General Meeting preparation, establishing variable compensation plan conditions, etc.
• Develop educational materials to enhance understanding of executive compensation within the organization Communicate Executive Compensation programs to key stakeholders, including Executives and HR partners.
• Work on ad-hoc requests and inquiries around Executive Compensation from the Top Management or HR, and provide guidance accordingly.

Profile:

• Master’s degree in Economics, HR, Finance, Psychology, Social Sciences or similar relevant discipline
• Minimum 2 years professional background in relevant field, e.g., in compensation consultancy, Compensation & Benefits, HR, Finance, or similar field, ideally in multinational publicly traded or top tier consulting companies
• Proven track record in managing global processes and/or global large-scale projects

PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

The IT Control Specialist supports the Corporate ICS team in the further development of the internal control system. Contributes to the mitigation of IT risk and ensures IT compliance with Sarbanes- Oxley (SOX) requirements. Provides guidance, support and subject matter expertise and works directly with IT management in implementing/documenting/testing controls and remediating identified deficiencies. Also works closely with the external auditor to collaboratively determine how to best resolve identified SOX IT deficiencies. Furthermore, becomes a subject matter expert of our ICS ecosystem (SAP Process Control, SAP Analytics Could, Celonis, etc.) and drives innovation such as control automation.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work with IT management to ensure appropriately designed controls are implemented for all in-scope entities and divisions and perform testing to validate their operating effectiveness throughout the fiscal year.
• Facilitate regular meetings with the FMC IT regulatory function and IT management to plan the documentation updates and testing of SOX IT controls.
• Analyze SOX testing results, making recommendations to facilitate management’s remediation and/or identification of mitigating controls for all FMC IT deficiencies.
• Supports IT management as the principal interface between external auditor and the FMC IT functions.
• Performs the annual SOX 404 scoping exercise to determine if there are any changes to IT data centers, applications or related processes which should be considered to determine what is in scope for SOX 404 purposes.
• Perform IT control assessments of any new entities, divisions and processes deemed material to the financial reporting process or in the scope of the external audit. Work with local IT management to develop and implement IT general controls and IT application.
• Maintains current knowledge regarding changes to SOX compliance regulations and ensures that FMC adjusts methodologies in response to the changes by issuing guidance and instructions to the appropriate IT stakeholders and personnel. Determines and recommends improvements to current risk management controls as needed.
• Leads implementation of major special projects and initiatives related to auditing automation software and applications to manage governance tasks and SOX financial reporting functions.
• Support and partial responsibility for the rollout as well as the planning and monitoring of automated controls.
• Updating of ICS information documents (presentations, knowledge cards, quick reference cards, ICS handbook)
• Support in the preparation and implementation of ICS-relevant meetings and training sessions

EDUCATION AND REQUIRED CREDENTIALS:

PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

Reporting to the Senior Director, Business Partner Communications Lead Care Enablement, the Business Partner Manager for Care Enablement Communications is responsible for working directly with business leadership to actively support Care Enablement (CE) in the development and implementation of communication activities based on the business objectives and content CE delivers. This Manager will play a key strategic communications support role for Care Enablement, helping to ensure the execution of both internal and external CE communications objectives. Internally, this role will support CE communications planning and ensure overall alignment with the broader FME corporate communications agenda. They will work with CE BP leadership to help catalogue and prioritize CE communication needs and coordinate with CoE personnel to ensure the timely execution of drafted communication requirements. Externally, they will support CE / CBS communication needs, inclusive of PR, social media, website, SEO and analytics requirements. They will additionally support the implementation of corporate branding across the CE organization.

The ideal candidate is an experienced communications professional, who has worked in an integrated global corporate communications environment and has demonstrated experience in employee engagement campaigns. The candidate should be a proactive communications professional, capable of addressing multiple, complex facets of medical product communication concurrently at a global scale. To do this, they should strive to optimize available tools and resources in ways that deliver Care Enablement communication needs most effectively within a Global Communications organization.  

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support worldwide internal and external communications for the Care Enablement organization, ensuring that business objectives are addressed and CE content is delivered effectively across all necessary audiences.
• Partner directly with CE leadership to define and execute on an internal communications plan that reflects CE business and strategic priorities.
• Support execution of communication requirements and strategy for CE leadership communications.
• Support CE editorial planning, ensuring timely execution and implementation of communication requirements.
• Support the development of communication cadences and sequencing that ensures CE employees remain engaged and connected to CE strategic priorities.
• Where necessary, serve as communications advisor and provide executive communications support for leadership within select Care Enablement business units.
• Partner with CBS to execute and implement the external communication needs for CE (PR, Social Media, Website, SEO, Analytics).
• Support implementation of Corporate Branding and SOPs across the CE organization.
• Help track channel communication effectiveness metrics and recommend actionable changes for Care Enablement based on data and insights to improve results; ensure segments and functions align with these metrics.
• Collaborate effectively with other BP leadership to ensure ongoing planning and resourcing alignment with the global communications calendaring process.
