Physical Requirements: Wage Grade 4 Food Service Workers perform work requiring light to moderate physical effort. The MPGS provides professional soldiers to meet armed security requirements at Royal Navy, Army, RAF and other MOD bases across the UK Mainland. Our primary role is to counter the terrorist threat posed to military bases within the UK.

Join Chest Heart and Stroke Scotland (CHSS) as Operations Support Officer – Office and Events and become part Scotland’s leading charity that provides support to people with chest, heart and stroke conditions to live life to the full again. Our Community Healthcare Support Service forms a nationwide network of local support groups, nurses, volunteers and one-to-one support teams helping families adjust to life with a heart or lung condition or after a stroke.
You will support the delivery of our No Life Half Lived 2 Strategy by ensuring efficient and inclusive customer service to internal stakeholders.

This will include line management of our Operations Support Administrators, ensuring their continued professional development and providing training on event support and H&S.
You will oversee and develop team processes and procedures, and continuously review the current arrangements for improvement opportunities.
This role will play a key role in delivering the Operational Support Team’s operational plan.

As the Officer for Office and Events, you will focus on ensuring HSE compliance within the office space as well as overseeing logistics support to various events and admin support to training opportunities in the charity.

Salary: £25,954 - £30,395

As a member of the Deskside Team, you will be dealing with service calls relating to IT devices and applications, as well as responsible for designing, creating, supporting & improving new and existing deskside-related infrastructure services, products and platforms.

You'll be exposed to technology such as:
-Microsoft, Apple and Linux technologies and services including Entra, Office 365, Teams, Exchange and Sharepoint
-Application and Operating system deployment using SCCM and Intune
-Virtualisation technologies including VDI
-Networking technologies including RAS and Wifi
-Telephony, Room booking and meeting room technologies
-Print management services.

Along with an interest in technology, you'll need problem-solving skills, the ability to troubleshoot on technology issues, ability to communicate comfortably with a range of colleagues via a range of mediums (electronically, over the phone, in person) and confidence to take ownership of issues and see them to completion.
