Additional duties include functioning as a Supervisor and Clinical Coordinator, which may include direct clinical coverage, for the operations of CCC Triage. The ANM may additionally be involved in management, supervision and evaluation of care delivered by Registered Nurses and Medical Support Assistants.

The ANM demonstrates a high level of clinical expertise, leadership and creative approaches to manage the complex care of the Veteran population and program requirements. Demonstrates the ability to lead and direct diverse and dynamic groups of staff in the delivery of safe and effective patient care. The ANM applies clinical skills necessary to identify, coordinate and/or identify discipline -specific education, as well as training, leadership, professional staff development and emerging needs to all levels of staff. About the role:

• Assist the Home Manager with the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring a high standard of care is provided
• Lead and supervise the nursing and care staff, providing clinical expertise and guidance
• Oversee the care planning process, ensuring residents' individual needs are met with dignity and respect
• Monitor clinical care standards, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, regulations and policies
• Support the recruitment, training and development of staff to maintain a skilled and motivated team
• Conduct regular audits, including medication management and care plans, to ensure best practices
• Act as a role model for excellent clinical care and leadership
• Build positive relationships with residents, families and healthcare professionals

About you:

• Qualification as a Registered General Nurse with a current and valid NMC pin number
• Proven management experience within a care home setting
• Strong clinical skills with an understanding of CQC requirements, Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults, HSE (Health & Safety Executive) requirements and other relevant legislation
• Excellent communication with a positive, flexible and innovative attitude
• Well organised with the ability to multi task in a fast-paced environment
