DevOps Customer Success Engineer

As a DevOps engineer, you know that listening to and truly understanding a client’s needs is the first step to introducing DevOps methodology to an organization. Your communication skills, combined with your technical know-how, mean you’re well-versed in setting organizations up for success. We’re looking for someone like you to bring your DevOps engineering knowledge and help our clients make a mission-forward impact.
As a DevOps customer success engineer at Booz Allen, you’ll not only convey the importance of efficiency to your clients—you’ll be directly involved in DevOps engineering work. Together with a team of experienced professionals, you’ll support the building and maintenance of a pipeline. You’ll help maintain tools and automate configuration management and infrastructure provisioning. Using your software engineering experience, you’ll support your team as they bring other organizations on board with DevOps and champion the adoption of related processes, tools, and roles.

You Have:
3+ years of experience supporting Linux system’s virtual builds and skills to modify web-related settings
Experience with DevOps Pipeline
Experience using AWS services
Experience troubleshooting configuration and integration issues in development, test, and production environments
Experience with Docker containerization, including Dockerfile creation, Docker Compose, and Docker image optimization
Ability to automate build, test, and deployment processes using GitLab CI/CD pipelines, including integration with testing frameworks
TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of experience in DevOps in lieu of a degree
CompTIA Security+ Certification
Nice If You Have:
Experience with infrastructure design, installation, implementation, operation, maintenance, and security of Linux servers
Experience with web server configuration, including, Istio, NGINX, or Apache
Experience with resolving application and system software problems
Experience with JIRA and Confluence
Experience in working with Browser or OS compatibility for a system
Experience with monitoring and optimizing system performance
Experience in creating clear and concise documentation for pipelines, configurations, and deployment procedures
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $58,300.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
