JOB SCOPE (Design Engineer)

1. Design, test, debug and commission the company’s product, which include jigs and fixtures, customized semi and fully automatic machines.
2. Attend meetings with customers to discuss on their requirements in new projects and/or project proposals.
3. Research and develop new ideas and concept to enhance company’s performance and competitiveness in the field of industrial automation.
4. Procure and/or assist in the procurement of necessary items to enable the performance of above duties.

Requirements

1. Minimum ITE, Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering
2. Minimum two years experience in customized Automation Machine Design.
3. Experience in customized semi-con/ connector/ machine design preferred.
4. Knowledge in Solidworks preferred, familiar with Pro-E and Inventor added advantage.
5. Intuitive in mechanical movement, function and performance. Good perception of 2D & 3D objects.
6. Understand machining processes well.
7. Intrinsic desire and passion to design high performance machines.
8. Able to communicate well technically in English
9. Able to perform work under relatively stressful environment

Responsibilities:

 Marketing Strategy: Develop and implement marketing strategies to achieve business objectives. This includes conducting market research, identifying target markets and defining positioning and messaging strategies.

 Brand Management: Manage and enhance the Company’s brand image and reputation. This involves developing brand guidelines, ensuring brand consistency across all marketing materials and monitoring brand perception in the market.

 Digital Marketing: Develop and implementing digital marketing strategies to reach target audiences effectively. This includes managing the Company’s website, social media platforms, email marketing, online advertising, and search engine optimization (SEO).

 Content creation: Creating engaging and relevant content for various marketing channels. This includes writing speeches, articles, social media posts, and product descriptions. XCL World Academy is seeking to recruit a full time Graphic Designer who can create visually compelling designs that effectively communicates messages, enhances brand identities, and captures the attention of the target audience. The Graphic Designer job role requires you to collaborate with stakeholders, and other members of the creative team to conceptualize, design, and edit graphics and videos across various mediums.

Main Responsibilities:

Graphic Designer

• Develop creative and innovative design concepts, layouts, and visual assets for various projects that might include logos, branding materials, social media graphics, website elements, etc.
• Utilise industry-standard graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or other relevant tools to create and edit designs.
• Use the appropriate colours and layouts for each graphic while receiving and incorporating feedback from team members to refine and improve designs.
• Work with copywriters and the creative director to produce the final design.
• Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand.
• Competitive analysis and making sure to create content according to the latest market trends.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Photographer / Videographer

• Handle camera on some occasions and capture footage as and when required for event coverage.

Others / Video Editor

• Edit and manipulate video footage to create visually engaging and cohesive videos for YouTube and other Social media channels.
• Edit and mix audio elements, including dialogue, music, and sound effects, to ensure high-quality audio for video projects.

Position Requirement:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven work experience as a graphic designer and video editor, or in similar roles will be preferable.
• A strong portfolio showcasing a range of graphic design
• Video editing projects, demonstrating creativity, technical skills, and a variety of styles will be an added advantage.
