SUMMARY: The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the centralized focal point for the commander to manage administrative controls to ensure safety, security, well-being, and accountability of all basic military training (BMT) trainees assigned to the squadron. Additionally, in the evening serves as the commander's representative, empowered to make decisions to handle or elevate to leadership situations that arise based on prescribed policy guidance and sound judgment.

DUTIES

• Charge of Quarters (CQ) daily operations monitoring and reporting.

The primary purpose of this position is to perform a variety of cleaning tasks to include cleaning guest rooms and areas of the Lodging facility which provides lodging accommodations to transient personnel and their families.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Cleans lodging guest rooms, corridors, stairways, facilities, and other assigned lodging areas.
• Sweeps, dry mops, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floors.
• Uses brooms, mops, lightweight vacuum cleaners, and lightweight floor scrubbers and buffers.
• Dusts, waxes, and polishes furniture.
• Cleans and sanitizes guest room appliances, cooking utensils and dishes.
• Empties wastebaskets.
• Polishes doorknobs/handles and other metal fixtures.
• Washes walls, windows, and blinds that can be reached unassisted or using stepping stools.
• Changes bed linen and makes beds.
• Collects soiled linen and places it at a pickup point.
• Receives clean linen and delivers it where directed.
• Updates room status, occupancy, and checkouts using the telephone system.
• Cleans, disinfects, and deodorizes lavatories, urinals, and toilet bowls.
• Cleans mirrors, sinks, and water fountains. Dusts ledges, woodwork, and furniture.
• Replaces room deodorizers.
• Restocks toilet tissue, hand towels, soap, and other complimentary sundry items.
• Notes condition of facilities and reports to supervisor broken windows, water leaks, clogged drains, and other conditions requiring maintenance.
• Keeps a stock of cleaning materials and equipment needed to do the work.
• Notifies supervisor when more materials are needed or when equipment needs repair or replacement.

1. Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of the Resource Management Section, ensuring that the financial service operations comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meet customer needs. Serves as the Resource Manager, providing fiscal oversight, analysis, and advisory services for the operational budget and both appropriated (APF) and non-appropriated (NAF) fund activities.
2. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Advises and provides counsel to employees regarding policies, procedures, and directives of management.
3. Represents the Resource Management Section with a variety of installation and functional area organizations. Establishes, develops, and maintains effective working relationships with other base organizations, senior leadership, representatives from other military services, Department of Defense (DoD) agencies, and other related civilian organizations regarding services provided.
4. Develops, implements, and monitors financial service operations and establishes internal accounting controls. Advises facility managers, flight chiefs, and senior leaders on regulatory or directive changes which may alter or affect the mission.

Conducts Commercial Sponsorship and Commercial Advertising. Compiles list of viable annual events and programs to seek commercial sponsorship. Develops solicitation packet and solicits sponsorship from local, regional, national and international sponsors. Negotiates mutually beneficial sponsorship terms and executes all supporting documents. Coordinates with the installation's Staff Judge Advocate to ensure terms of each sponsorship agreement follows all procedural guidance, regulations and policies. Ensures AF and sponsor compliance with sponsorship agreement. Attends events and serves as point of contact for sponsors at event. Compiles and provides sponsor with copies of subsequent publicity and develops appropriate thank you letter and after-action report. Stays current on all aspects of administration of the Commercial Sponsorship and Advertising program. Identifies advertising vehicles to market under marketing program. Develops pricing and rate structure for paid advertising in Services publications, point of sale venues and collateral materials such as placemats, bowling center scoring screens and golf course tees. Negotiates terms of advertising agreement and executes all supporting documents. Tracks payment of advertising to ensure proper accountability and credit to Services Fund. Stays current on all aspects of administration of the marketing program. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Sweeps, dusts, and cleans other areas of the bowling facility; collects and removes trash; and maintains all areas in a clean and orderly fashion. Hand sands and varnishes minor flaws in lanes until surface can be conditioned. Makes minor corrective adjustments to bowling lane machinery as necessary, and performs periodic minor preventive maintenance on automatic pinsetter and mechanical equipment. Maintains stock levels and records on spare parts for automatic pinsetter and mechanical equipment. Advises bowling facility management of unusual maintenance problems. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Physical effort: Heavy physical effort is required in frequent lifting and moving objects weighing over 50 pounds, and in using heavy hand tools and operating equipment. Working conditions: Works indoors in areas that may be dusty, drafty, and noisy. Special care is required to avoid serious injuries. Requires caution in working with moving parts during operation of equipment.

DUTIES:

• ESL Instructor. Teaches Communication Skills lessons for International Military Students (IMS) attending graduate level USAF Professional Military Education (PME) and for IMS dependents attending the International Dependents English Course.
• ESL Curriculum Developer. Originates and develops ESL materials for IOS classes to meet the communicative requirements of IMSs having relatively little experience with American English, as well as those having relatively greater fluency in English and US Air Force terminology.
• Scholarship/Service. Uses ESL expertise to engage in scholarship by researching and implementing effective ESL teaching and learning strategies and technologies.
