• Oversees and coordinates assigned activities, of the Installation Army Education Center, functions and projects, to ensure the goals and objectives of the education services and the credentialing/licensure program.

The following are the duties of this position at the full working level.

• The incumbent serves as an analyst responsible for developing and/or interpreting guidance on program planning, execution, and evaluation for the compliance, accounts management and/or taxpayer education and communication functions.

• The employee plans, analyzes, determines cost/benefit relationships, and coordinates a variety of functions, operations, and teams.

• Independently studies problems facing operating unit functions or those of particular concern within the organization assigned. This may require coordinating input from activities outside the division and identifying new methods of performing work. This requires the incumbent to demonstrate analytical, technical, and process analysis skills.

• Analyzes assigned program areas to discern trends in program delivery. Consolidates report data to measure the effectiveness in meeting baselines or the degree to which program plans and achievements support strategic initiatives.

• Provides technical advice and staff assistance to executives, field managers, and employees in the assigned program area. Develops and prepares operating guidelines, instructions, and other material pertaining to assigned program areas.

• Responsible for managing Agricultural Quarantine Inspection (AQI) and/or Domestic programs as follows:

• Developing survey, treatment, and/or inspection initiative in order to facilitate exports of agricultural products.

As a SUPERVISORY POLYGRAPH SPECIALIST you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Manages and supervises senior polygraph instructors, composed of DCSA personnel and personnel detailed to NCCA.

• Provides technical expertise and guidance in the development and implementation of course curriculum for PDD and CA examinations for federal criminal investigation, intelligence, and security agencies.

• Assigns work based on priorities, requirements, technical background, and subordinates' capabilities. Conducts performance feedback and formally documents subordinates' performance. Monitors and approves time/attendance and leave schedules.

• Leverages subject matter expertise to provide guidance and assistance on all aspects of federally approved polygraph testing processes and methodologies.

• Coordinates with the CA community to identify their unique requirements in order to provide specialized education and training to meet specific needs.

• Assists with developing policy and operating procedures which are consistent with DoD policies for the use of polygraph testing.

• Conducts briefings, lectures, and demonstrations on CA to all levels of DoD and federal criminal and counterintelligence security.

• Provide administrative support in the examination, initiation, and completion of legal actions and documents for review by the Chief, Military Justice or his or her designee(s).
• Assist commanders at all levels and their personnel with all matters relating to the administration of military justice, including but not limited to, administrative separations per AR-635-200 and AR 600-8-24.
• Initiate and process forms required for Soldiers reported as absent without leave (AWOL) and dropped from rolls (DFR) and prepares and processes to completion other legal documents
• Prepare draft appointment orders detailing off icers to conduct AR 15-6 investigations, administrative separation boards, and Article 32 hearings for review and coordinates with the appropriate attorney to schedule their briefings and legal reviews.
