This position offers the right candidate the opportunity to develop strategic partnerships with key players in the relevant industry segments (in both the commercial & public sectors) to drive key programmes, projects and initiatives. Our client's Corporate and Industry Partnerships Division has the unique opportunity to create and build long-lasting relationships with our partners, and to cultivate these partnerships to develop mutually beneficial collaborations that will support our client organisation’s programmes, strategies and initiatives.

Responsibilities

To be effective, you have to be a dynamic team player. You must possess strong relationship-building skills and are apt to see win-win opportunities with partners. You must also possess strong project execution skills, be able to effect change, garner resources, and manage people and projects (without direct control of people or resources). You will:-

• Support the relevant team members, including those in the Physical Activity partnerships team, to build strategic & sustainable partnerships, identify partnership opportunities, and develop workflows and processes to support these initiatives.
• Pitch and market these partnership initiatives; bridging partner and our client organisation’s interest to reach mutually beneficial partnerships agreement.
• Execute and implement the partnership programme through working with internal stakeholders and external partners; conduct end-of-programme review with customers, and thereafter providing feedback to internal stakeholders.
• Constantly improve the processes of partnership acquisition, selling, development, implementation and retention, and uphold professionalism and partnership satisfaction.
• Develop close working relationship with internal stakeholders to engage, identify and support partnership opportunities.
• Actively participate in execution of key initiatives and projects, proactive in one’s responsibilities, so as to launch initiatives successfully and on time.
• Actively maintain and enhance relationships with partners.
• Strategize and plan to oversee the implementation of multi-agency collaboration projects with other government bodies and ministries.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess:-

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or other related discipline.
• About 10 years of relevant working experience (preferably at middle-management level) in partnerships management, customer engagement (B2B or B2C), business development, sales or marketing-related organisation, with proven track record of building strong customer and stakeholder relationships at various levels.
• About 3 years of experience in managing teams, and proven record in guiding them to execute mid to large scale programmes and initiatives.
• Good leadership and teamwork to engage, motivate and work with team members.
• Relevant hands-on operational leadership experience in project and team management.
• Proven track record in successfully developing, implementing, and executing partnership programmes or initiatives, with a good understanding of the underlying economics of managing such programmes.
• Demonstrated competency in development of partnership proposal (includes ideation), operations planning, execution and management of project launches.
• Strategic mind-set, strong interpersonal skills, demonstrated ability to interact effectively with all levels of an organisation and political savviness to navigate complex stakeholder relationships.
• High level of creativity, savviness, resourcefulness and be results-oriented.
• Strong verbal, written and presentation skills.
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
• Bilingual capability will be an added advantage.

• Assist the Chief Engineer to oversees the engineering/maintenance operations of the hotel.

• Be responsible to ensure that all the engineering and maintenance activities of the hotel are conducted to the highest professional standards at all times, with guest comfort and safety being the highest priority.

• Assist the Chief Engineer in the preparation of the annual departmental operating budget and financial plans.

• Assist the Chief Engineer to develop preventive maintenance programs to ensure the facility is maintained and in service for our guests (example: lighting, refrigeration, heating, air-conditioning, water treatment systems, and pools)

• Assist the Chief Engineer to coordinate projects with general contractor and sub-contractor, and ensure quality work is performed cost-effectively

• Assist Chief Engineer to develop, implement and manage energy conservation programs for the property to minimise expenses

• Educate and train all engineering colleagues in compliance with governmental and safety regulations

• Ensure the team is properly trained and has the tools and equipment to carry out job duties

• Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments

• Communicate with all hotel department heads to stay informed of maintenance needs and ensure timely responses to requests.

What We Need From You

• Certified in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

• Five years operating experience in a hotel engineering department

• Minimum of 5 years experience in a supervisory position in a hotel engineering department or a related field with a proven record of accomplishment or success.

• Experience in hotel renovation is an advantage

• Advanced knowledge of building management/engineering

• Highly committed to delivering a high level of guests experience

• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English, particularly to deal effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.

The Opportunity

The Strategy Director reports into the Head of Strategy APAC and is responsible for developing strategic recommendations that solve client communication challenges.

Client

• Lead (and take responsibility for) the development of regional campaign strategy from briefing to the final document.
• Collaborate with Comms Design Director to produce data-informed and culturally-relevant best-in-class connections planning, ensuring rigor by employing industry & Initiative tools/processes in the strategic process
• Connect with global strategy team to translate the global framework into regional recommendations.
• Identify longer-term communication and media innovation opportunities that are both inspiring but in alignment with pharmaceutical communication guidelines.
• Collaborate with creative agencies to translate the creative platform into engaging media ideas by infusing connections prowess to the recommendation.
• Demonstrate good understanding of consumers, their behaviours and culture, clearly communicating how the strategy delivers on the business need and KPIs
• Relationship-building with local counterparts at Initiative
• Hold both inspiring and pragmatic conversations with key clients, earning the trust to become an indispensable ally and partner who guides decision-making.
• With the Client Advice lead, maintain relevance of media planning and the Initiative media team through evolving market and brand conditions

New Business

• Participate in new business initiatives, leading the strategy for market pitches
• Ensure implementation remains true to strategic platform by working seamlessly with the implementation team

Internal

• Lead and advocate Fame & Flow for the team and client base, explaining the process and its benefits to clients and coaching its application amongst our own people
• Adherence to agency process / engage the right people at the right time – supply clear implementation briefs to the implementation team and offer support during the implementation process
• Take a leadership stance in sharing work internally, readily sharing relevant work or case studies whenever the opportunity presents itself
• Support training needs, creating a profile across the agency through involvement in idea generation sessions beyond allocated client base
• Train, guide, assist Client Advice and Management teams in development and sell-through of ideas

Ideally

• Vast experience in integrated planning role in media, creative, innovation or communications discipline (digital, content, invention, social, activation)
