Your new job:

In addition to the traditional finance function duties (cash management, liaising with the auditors and the bank and other finance related matters such as budgeting, financial performance, overseeing accounting staff) the role encompasses a variety of other administrative responsibilities:

Human Resources – dealing with staff, issuing contracts, records up to date, awareness of legislation
Understanding of payroll and auto-enrolment requirements
GDPR – awareness of what our responsibilities are and ensuring that they are compliant
Ensure that AML regulations are being met
Overseeing H&S
Insurance renewals (commercial combined, professional, credit)
Agreeing contracts for the supply of equipment/electricity
Oversee the IT function / IT Manager
Manage the Business Risk Register
Acting as Company Secretary

Requirements:

Sound financial background and with experience to oversee the finance and administrative functions within a small but busy company whose business operates in various sectors.

The role will report directly to the Chair and you will play an active role as a member of the Board in the running of the company.

Consideration will be given to anybody who can demonstrate experience to oversee and manage the areas listed above and we are willing to consider either full or part-time.

As a Cardiac Physiologist you will be proficient and have developed knowledge and skills across a wide range of services including Implantation and follow up of pacemakers and complex devices within CRM.

A BSc Cardiac Physiology qualification or equivalent is essential and accreditation in cardiac devices (BHRS, EHRA or IBHRE) is desirable.

Successful applicants who do not hold a CRM accreditation will be expected to achieve this within a specific time frame and will be offered support to do so.

As a member of the cardiac physiology team you will be expected to rotate around sites and areas of cardiology, the catheter labs (angiograms, PCI, PPCI, IVUS, OCT, FFR), exercise tolerance testing, tilt tests, tape analysis, device follow up, remote monitoring follow up and device implant to keep up existing skills so experience in those areas would be an advantage.









The postholder roles is within CRM and to also undertake the full range of invasive and non-invasive procedures carried out within the Cardiac Investigation service at London Northwest University Healthcare NHS Trust.

The jobholder will participate in the training of junior members of the department. (Cardiac associate practitioners and Trainee Cardiac Physiologists). They will be able to work unsupervised in all areas and be responsible for the day to day running of any area in which they are working.

To authorise, perform, interpret and report on a range of complex and highly specialised diagnostic clinical investigations in line with national, Trust, departmental and professional directives.
