Responsibilities

• Strategise and create multi-channel marketing plans to deliver on lead generation campaigns for various client accounts. Channels include farming and email/Whatsapp marketing to existing bases, paid advertising, community marketing, events and partnerships, telesales, offline promoters, etc.

1. Program Planning and Leadership. The Director, Center for Disruptive Technology and Future Warfare (CDTFW), reports to the INSS Director. He/she leads and manages CDTFW research, operations, budget, and personnel. The incumbent assures that CDTFW's research is methodologically rigorous, cutting-edge, and impactful. He/she develops and manages research and academic initiatives related to disruptive technology and future warfare and helps to effectively disseminate publications and research products to relevant DoD and U.S. government stakeholders to ensure the strongest reach and impact. The incumbent leads, manages, and coordinates across the NDU academic and research enterprise, as well as with DoD and interagency stakeholder organizations. The incumbent's focus and responsibilities in leading and managing a center that produces cutting-edge impactful research on disruptive technology and the implications for defense and national security policy and strategy include the following:

• Conducts and supervises cutting edge research on disruptive technology and future warfare, to include artificial intelligence, autonomous and semi-autonomous weapons systems, and assesses their impact on defense and national strategy and policy.

2. Resource Management and Development. The incumbent oversees all budget and programming activities and determines the need for budget, manpower, and other resource changes in coordination with the INSS Director and INSS Dean of Administration based on current and long-term stakeholder priorities. The Director collaborates with other INSS Center directors to plan and execute Center priorities and activities.

3. Personnel Management and EEO. As Director of CDTFW, the incumbent directs a staff of Research Fellows and ensures that Center hiring actions and/or contracts are managed in a timely manner and comply with regulation to best support the NDU-INSS mission. The AO is seeking a Chief of Staff in the Department of Administrative Services (DAS). The incumbent will report to the DAS Associate Director and assist them with the oversight of services that support the federal Judiciary, including budget, human resources, facilities, emergency management, continuous process improvement, support for Judicial Conference Committees and Advisory Councils, procurement and acquisitions, financial management, accounting, physical security, appropriations liaison and analysis, and administrative information technology systems.

DAS has 500 government employees that manage programs serving 26,000 judiciary staff and 3,740 active, senior, and retired judges. The duties of the Chief of Staff include, but are not limited to:

As Programming Director, you will be responsible for duties to include, but are not limited to:

1. Serves as the lead director of news and content for Voice of America, acting in accordance with direction from the VOA Director. The successful candidate will have strategic development for music across the whole school to inspire young people in the subject. The duties of the Transport and Logistics Director role will include:

- Reviewing and forecasting workflow, manpower, and space requirements for logistics operations

- Analysing logistical challenges and develop innovative solutions

- Liaising with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and consumers to ensure smooth operations

- Tracking and monitoring key factors such as quality, quantity, delivery times, and transport costs

- Resolving arising problems or complaints to maintain customer satisfaction

- Developing transportation strategies to meet cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets

- Managing and overseeing the transportation budget, preparing and approving the department’s annual financial plan

- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and lead the development of safety training programs for staff

What skills and experience do you need?

The ideal candidate for this Transport and Logistics Director role will have a relevant bachelor's degree in fields such as Supply Chain Management or Logistics, with an advanced degree like an MBA being a plus. Professional certifications, including those from the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) and CPC qualifications, are highly regarded, alongside process improvement and technology certifications like Six Sigma. A vast amount of leadership experience in logistics, managing large teams and global supply chains is essential. Key skills include strategic leadership, operational expertise, problem-solving, financial acumen, and proficiency in logistics software systems. Additionally, the role requires industry-specific knowledge of regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
