What to expect

Experis are working with a defence client who are part of the MoD and specialise in SaaS data products and live services delivered within both the defence and commercial sector across the UK and the rest of the world.

Reporting into the CEO you'll be responsible for the transformation programme from a digital perspective in delivering the future strategy. You'll also head up DDaT profession leading the Technology Division (around 200 colleagues). This includes Cyber Security, Information Management, Software Development & Testing, Architecture, Delivery Management and Technology Operations.

The role will drive forward the development and implementation of the technology strategy, in the context of transformation. It's critical that the CTO is a technology and people leader.

What you'll need

• An outstanding people leader, able to inspire, engage and develop people and teams at all levels
• A natural collaborator, with well-honed stakeholder management and systems leadership management skills

Key Responsibilities Working within the overall ICS strategic objectives, devise, implement and monitor the strategy which will set out a core set of principles describing how Maternity, neonatal and paediatric services can be best involved and embedded into the transformation work programmes within the ICS. Exploring the approach to developing an integrated, flexible, Maternity, neonatal and paediatric workforce that can deliver high quality and sustainable health and care services at ICS/ ICP & neighbourhood levels. Coproducing the functions of clinical and professional leadership that should be undertaken at system level and describe how these would be delivered. Ensuring visible Midwifery leadership at ICS system, regional and national level. Provide expert advice and strategic system leadership to the ICS Programme Leads, Care Professionals Board and ICPs to support the development of an integrated, flexible, Maternity, neonatal and paediatric workforce that can deliver high quality and sustainable, integrated at scale, across a local system. Maintain a good knowledge of emerging policies from government departments to assist in the thinking and definition of the strategy discussions. Clinical lead for the Local Maternity and Neonatal system. Informing the ICS & Programme Leads on how the Maternity, neonatal and paediatric workforce will support the delivery of the Long-Term Plan and the transformational workstreams, understanding and unlocking the barriers that will increase opportunities for effective service delivery. Develop and support transformation within the Maternity, neonatal and paediatric models of care and pathways. The role will support a culture across LMNS that is supportive, inclusive and enables all voices across the membership to be valued ,listened to. Provide leadership for safeguarding agenda across LMNS in conjunction with system Named /designated professionals Contribute to the review and development of existing information management systems and contribute to the development of an integrated approach to project management.
