The Elective Access Team Leader will support the Patient Access Manager who in conjunction with the Deputy Operational Services Manager are responsible for the management of Referral to Treatment (RTT) & Cancer Access standards across assigned services.
The post holder will take responsibility for the line management of the Directorate Outpatient and Inpatient booking teams and the management of the associated Patient Tracking Lists (PTL’s) across the Directorate.
The Elective Access Team Leader will work with the clinical services ensuring clinical prioritisation and chronological booking is consistent for all outpatient and inpatient appointments within the directorate.

 To present highly complex statistical information to staff to assist with ongoing service improvement
 The post holder is responsible for supporting the Patient Access Manager and Deputy Operational Services Manager within the directorate in the achievement of all elective access targets
 The post holder will be responsible for training all staff in the rules and guidance for RTT delivery under the direction of the Patient Access Manager

 Attend the weekly theatre planning meetings and ensure cover for all theatre lists and communication with theatre staff is upheld
 Be familiar with HR policies and procedures within the Trust and to ensure that good practice in recruitment, appraisal and performance management and other policies are maintained

A very established company in Oxford are looking for a Building Facilities & Procurement Manager to oversee the running of the Head Office Building from a facilities and procurement perspective, looking after a small team of staff and working closely with the Group Health and Safety Manager and Directors.

As part of the senior nursing team you will assist the Ward Manager in providing excellent clinical and managerial leadership and will have the opportunity to gain an insight into the Ward Manager role. OVERALL OBJECTIVES
• To assist the Ward Manager in providing clinical and managerial leadership to all staff
• To line manage/appraise and develop a small team of nurses within the ward establishment
• To lead in a specific area of ward practice/project work on the ward as agreed, making recommendations, coordinating projects and developing practice guidelines and policies based upon robust evidence, gained from risk assessment, audit and literature review.
• To be professionally and clinically responsible to patients within the ward, providing and maintaining a high standard of care and maintaining a communication link between patient and organisation
• To maintain and continually develop specialist knowledge and skills relevant to the clinical area and to provide an out of hours Triage Service and act as a specialist resource to the Trust
• Regularly act as shift coordinator, participating in the allocation of workload, ensuring efficient bed management, effective patient care and safety on the ward
• Contribute to the development of clinical practice, with regards to Departmental, Trust and National recommendations, communicating this to junior colleagues in a positive manner in order to maintain a consistent, motivated ward focus.
