We are seeking an Assistant Business Development Manager for our client ST Engineering.
Assistant Business Development Manager
Responsibilities
· Develop and execute business development strategies to expand our presence in the space and satellite market
· Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations
· Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including satellite operators, space agencies, governments, and industry leaders
· Conduct market research and analysis to stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, product) to develop tailored solutions for customers
· Negotiate and close deals, ensuring revenue growth and profitability
· Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events
Requirements
· Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
· Certification in business development or sales (e.g., CBDO, CSO)
· 3 to 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing within the space and satellite industry
· Strong network and connections within the industry
· Proven track record of successful business development and deal closure
· Experience working with government agencies, space agencies, or international organizations
· Familiarity with satellite communications, Earth observation, navigation, or space exploration
· In-depth knowledge of space and satellite technologies, applications, and market trends
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
· Working location is in Ang Mo Kio
