What will you be doing?

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to oversee the daily operations of the care home. As a regulated entity, we require the candidate to be registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and to have good knowledge in all relevant legislation and regulations. Your role will involve ensuring that the home provides high-quality care and support to residents.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to the home’s staff team, fostering a culture of kindness, compassion, and empathy.
• Recruit, train, motivate, and retain a team of skilled care professionals dedicated to delivering person-centered care.
• Ensure the home complies with all regulatory requirements, including those set by the CQC, and maintains excellent standards of care and support.
• Manage the home’s budget.
• Build and sustain positive relationships with residents, families, and all stakeholders, addressing their needs and concerns effectively.

About you

With your previous experience in care leadership, and NVQ Level 5 qualification in Health & Social Care or willingness to undertake, you'll join our team in making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.

Platform Property Care has an exciting opportunity for a Quality & Defects Manager to join our Grounds Maintenance team as our Subject Matter Expert for all of Platform Housing new build sites landscaping under development.
What could you be doing?
In this key role you will be responsible for ensuring landscaping works on new developments are delivered on time, to high standards and contract specification whilst being the main point of contact for all stakeholders.
You’ll have a real input into new development scheme design and maintenance regime being involved with the pre-planning and pre-site review. Working with our Development Land team you will lead on all Grounds throughout the build process, managing the defects until sites are complete and then handed over to the Grounds Maintenance Delivery Managers and their teams to manage and maintain on a day to day.
Some things we need from you:
• Proven knowledge and demonstrable experience of delivering horticulture and landscape maintenance techniques and industry best practice including tree and hedge conservation
• Experience of working day to day with external stakeholders with excellent relationship building and maintenance skills
• Used to working with site plans and planting diagrams with a key eye for detail
• Experience in monitoring, measuring, and managing performance and addressing under-performance and of delivering works on time
• It would be desirable if you have a C & G/ National Diploma or equivalent qualification in Horticulture, and if you were an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Horticulture and working towards Corporate Membership
• Management and H & S Management qualifications would also be desirable but not essential

This is a mobile role with a van and fuel card provided so a driving licence is essential. We have group offices in Solihull and Worcester.
