My client, who are a family run business, have ambitious plans to grow the company and are looking to add a Contracts Manager to the Senior Management Team, to head up the Fencing Division. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and manage a team who will work closely alongside our Local Authority Partners and Education Providers to install and maintain a wide variety of fencing and gate services.

What are the day-to-day responsibilities of the Contracts Manager:
• Handling initial enquiries, arranging and attending Client Site Visits/Surveys
• Managing the project to ensure that it stays on budget and is completed within the allotted time frame
• Ensuring the client remains fully updated throughout the project
• Overseeing the recruitment and development of your team
• Supporting the directors to grow the department and wider business
Required Skills and Qualifications of the Contracts Manager:
• Experience of working on similar projects would be advantageous, but finding the right person is more important
• First class communication skills, able to build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, clients and other third party stakeholders/contractors
• Excellent organisational, planning and time management skills
• The desire and ability to help grow the division and wider business through proactive business development and networking
