The following are the duties of this position at the full working level.

• Incumbent serves as project leader for the planning, development, coordination, and implementation of major real estate projects that impacts multiple IRS locations and/or organizations. Evaluates safety standards adopted by national safety associations, societies, or institutes; publications on work processes; and current industrial problems and modifies/adapts for local application. 4. Reviews plans and specifications for new construction, major building alterations, and/or changes in equipment and monitors project through completion to ensure compliance with safety codes and standards. Recommends design changes not included in the original plan and provides technical recommendations to eliminate or control safety hazards in the construction, repair and maintenance of installation facilities and equipment. When need arises, stops any operation that is of imminent danger to personnel or property. Develops specialized operating practices affecting construction matters associated with diverse but recognized hazards and attends pre-construction conferences to brief contractors on safety requirements. Identifies potential safety hazards to assure adequate fire exits, stairways, aisle space, means of egress, etc. Randomly spot checks construction sites and notifies contracting officer when safety violations or practices are observed (e.g., improper scaffolding, construction pits not safeguarded, improper use of ladders). • Serves as a Supervisory Program Officer for various Acquisition (ACAT) I, II and/or III programs within the Project/Product Managers (PM) Office.
• Coordinates and develops procedures relating to financial management, acquisition, implementation, distribution, and logistical support.
• Identifies and balances risks, selects alternatives and plans how to best accomplish the goals and objectives of the project within recognized guidelines.
• Manages a government team consisting of assigned civilian and military personnel, matrix and support civilian and military personnel, and the efforts of supporting contractor teams.
• Conducts In-process Reviews for assigned projects.
• Performs the full range of administrative and technical supervisory duties.

As a Supervisory National Bank Examiner (MCBS Team Leader), you will:

• Lead a staff of pre-commissioned examiners assigned to the field office including monitoring the progress of their assignments, evaluating their training and developmental needs, assessing their performance objectives, and evaluating their performance.
• Lead and guide the non-commissioned bank/thrift examiners to prepare them for the Uniform Commission Examination (UCE) and to ensure that they have the necessary knowledge and skills to pass the examination.
• Participate in the planning, scheduling and monitoring of supervisory activities to ensure effective use of resources.
• Assess risk, develop supervisory strategies, determine the scope of supervisory activities, manage teams of assisting personnel, prepare reports of activities, and develop responses to address risks within the company.
• Develop and implement plans for meeting program objectives; assess effectiveness of programs and provide input on proposed OCC policy and program implementation/revision.
