Job Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Employee Relations (ER) and Industrial Relations (IR) functions to ensure a positive and productive workplace.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree/ Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field; relevant certifications are advantageous.
• At least 8-10 years of experience in Employee Relations and Industrial Relations, with a minimum of 4 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of labor laws, employee rights, and industrial relations practices.
• Demonstrated experience in managing complex ER and IR issues, disputes, and negotiations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.

Job Summary:

The Manager of Process Safety will oversee the implementation and management of process safety programs within the plant to ensure a safe and compliant operational environment. This role involves collaboration across departments to identify potential hazards, assess risks, and develop strategies to mitigate them while complying with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and continuous improvement of the organization's process safety management system.
• Conduct regular process hazard analyses (PHA) and safety assessments to identify and manage risks effectively.
• Develop and enforce policies, procedures, and best practices for process safety across all operations.
• Coordinate and facilitate safety audits, inspections, and investigations to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
• Provide expert guidance and support to operations, engineering, and maintenance teams regarding process safety issues.
• Develop and deliver training programs to promote awareness and understanding of process safety principles among staff.
• Collaborate with senior management to integrate process safety practices into overall business strategies.
• Monitor compliance with process safety regulations and respond to any incidents or near misses with appropriate corrective actions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Safety Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., CSP, CIH) is preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in process safety management, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• In-depth knowledge of process safety regulations and industry standards (e.g., OSHA PSM, EPA RMP).
• Demonstrated experience in conducting PHAs, risk assessments, and safety audits.

Ensure effective implementation and maintenance of MS ISO/IEC 17025:2017,SAMM Policy as well as Natural Resources Group Quality Systems in all laboratories.

· Support his/her manager in handling daily operational and provide technical and management supervision laboratory staff operations to ensure the timeliness and accuracy of tests.

· Ensure that the operations are performed in accordance to the approved procedure or standard/method.

· To work and coordinate with his/her superior for resolve operational inquiries and ensure all root cause of non-conformities or customer-complaints are investigated and identified with appropriate corrective actions.

· Keep updated on industry & SGS best practices with regards to the use of appropriate analytical methods for the commodities serviced.

· Support Business Leaders to set up new operations within the given timeframe and work closely with the group leaders in local and Global to ensure efficient operations.

· Review laboratory operations plans and procedures to redress adverse variances in activity and maximize productivity and efficiency.

· Ensure the participation and excellence in Proficiency Test and Round-Robin program of designated laboratory operation.

· Coach, mentor and develop laboratory staff; identify the training needs relevant for technical skills improvement.

· Ensure all Analytical equipment in the operation are calibrated as needed and maintained.

· Ensure that all Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) / Operational Integrity requirements are met.

· Adhere and operate to the highest standards of ethics, in accordance with the SGS Code of Integrity and local HR policies.
