As an Area Manager you will provide; focus, support, and leadership to a designated geographically defined field management team to ensure the service and quality expectations of our customers are met.

You will be required to:

The Role – Store Manager:

Warehouse Shift Leader - Biggleswade - £23,887

Retail and Asset Solutions are looking for a warehouse team captain to join our supply chain team on a full-time permanent basis. As a warehouse team captain, you will be responsible for achieving daily auditing targets by checking the accuracy of pallets and cages of stock, before they leave the warehouse, to ensure they meet the delivery requests and no errors have been made.

You will be required to:

• Manage stock accuracy levels within the depot and stock loaded into trailers against drivers' paperwork and check the accuracy of incoming deliveries.
• Delivery Checker's will be confident in their ability to add and subtract without the use of a calculator
• Able to actively respond to both verbal instructions and audible warning devices
• The ability to communicate well, both written and verbally
• Ensure your own and the team's KPI's are met
• Perform and document weekly supervision with each team member
• Monitor audit data to provide performance feedback to each team member regarding
• output and error rates
• Basic Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word

The Position

• This is a full-time permanent position based at our customers distribution centre in Biggleswade
• Rate of pay: £23,887 per annum
• Shift patterns: 5 days out of 7 - 8-hour shift between: 11pm-11am +0.50p per hour night allowance
• Weekly hours: 37.5 hours plus daily 30-min unpaid break
• Working Environment: Chilled
• Own transport required

As the Lead Delivery Manager, you will be an experienced professional who can lead a team of other delivery manager practitioners. There are currently four MaPS delivery managers, assigned to continuous improvement and project work in cross functional teams, who will report to you.

The Lead Delivery Manager will own the community of practice for the discipline at MaPS which also includes 3rd party colleagues. You will support professional development and continuous improvement of your community.

The Lead Delivery Manager will collaborate closely with peers in Technology, Change, Product, Engineering and User-Centred Design Teams to achieve our delivery goals and improve performance. You will also support in developing the digital maturity of the organisation.

You will be the Operational Contract Manager for MaPS Digital Delivery Partner and be responsible for the recruitment and onboarding of the right people to the right teams.

You will be asked to work with other lead roles to promote effective cross-functional delivery. You will be a skilled team leader who can confidently communicate the value of the role to digital and non-digital stakeholders and be credible and influential across departments.

• Lead a team of Delivery Managers, providing them with frequent feedback and coaching to support their development needs.
• Perform a Leadership role in quarterly planning events, Scrum of Scrums, Delivery Management Community of Practice and other forums
• Proactively managing dependencies, overcoming obstacles and removing or mitigating against constraints and blockers
• Operational Contract Manager for MaPS Digital Delivery Partner contract
• Collaborate with Technology colleagues to ensure a seamless transition of products into support and implement quality assurance gates to minimise production incidents
• Championing agile delivery across the organisation and leading a community of practice which includes MaPS employees, contractors and 3rd party partners.
• Ownership of onboarding 3rd party resources into MaPS delivery methodology and ways of working.
• Managing risks and budgets to deliver the best possible value for money.
• Ensuring that teams have psychological safety to enable them to perform

Role details;

• Work with the Senior Product Lead and the Product team to ensure that delivery teams are operating as effectively as possible.

• Adopt a forward look at roadmaps and plans and adjust the delivery strategy accordingly in order to migrate risks and establish confidence.

• Work with the Chief of Development to manage our 3rd party suppliers and to ensure MaPS receives an exceptional level of service and high level of collaboration.

• Engage with Change and Planning colleagues to implement and shape the digital teams that are required to support MaPS strategic objectives.

• Support Programme and Project Managers in reporting and delivering against their plans.

• Present to large and small groups on Delivery Management and champion the work of the community.

• You will be comfortable in a fast-paced environment and an authentic leader for your team and within the Technology and Change directorate.

• The Lead Delivery Manager will be adept at building relationships across directorates and managing Stakeholders.

• An important part of the role is communicating between technical and non technical colleagues and enabling the team to do the same.

• You will be comfortable operating in an environment where many of the teams are blended to include MaPs and supplier colleagues – ie. “rainbow” teams.

• The Lead Delivery Manager will have a good understanding of the Product Lifecycle as it applies to government organisations and will have a passion for process improvement to drive efficiency in teams.

You will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience;

• 4 years+ experience leading Agile teams throughout the product lifecycle (must be certified in Agile).
• People leadership and line management experience.
• Demonstrable evidence of planning large Agile deliveries.
• Able to manage a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders.
• Stay current with industry trends, landscape changes and new technologies to identify new opportunities.
• Strong team leadership and experience with working cross functional teams, including collaborating with peers and other community of practice leads to plan and manage delivery.
• Experience of managing contracts and external stakeholders. ideally in a government organisation.
• Experience ideally in a government organisation would be beneficial.

Role Overview
The Senior Relationship Manager will report directly to Strategic Partnerships Lead. In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Take key account management responsibility for an existing portfolio of Money Guiders Programme Partners, building strong and lasting relationships whilst also identifying and progressing opportunities for new partnerships.
• Provide long term consultative support to programme partners, helping them to develop and deliver sustainable money guidance services, and increasing the breadth, depth and quality of the guidance that they deliver.
• Support the Strategic Partnerships Lead to develop the partner strand and ensure it progresses in line with strategic and scale up planning.
• Working closely with the UK Partnerships team at MaPS to engage with new potential partner organisations, and to manage ongoing relationships with Money Guiders programme partners
• Ensure programme partners are fully aware of all programme components, and championing the benefits of them aligned to partner needs.
• Capture and provide insight, intelligence and feedback from Programme Partners to inform the future development of the programme.
• Keep abreast of the complex and diverse systems within which the Money Guiders partner organisations and practitioners operate at a strategic, policy and practice level
• Working collaboratively with Money Guiders Leads and Operations Managers, to continuously improve the operational delivery of the programme, with a focus on relationship management activities.
  • Review, develop, improve, and as appropriate, introduce and embed systems and processes into current ways of working
  • Support data sharing requirements, including taking responsibility for Data Sharing Agreements with Money Guiders Partners.
  • Review and update programme collateral, working with our Programme Co-ordinator to manage and maintain version / change control.
• Work closely with our Programme Co-Ordinator to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of Money guiders partner practitioners’ induction sessions.

Skills and Experience Required
To excel in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

• Exceptional relationship management skills and the ability to deal with people at all levels, with demonstrable experience and track record in a similar role of key account management, partnership or relationship management.
