You will be managing the business development work, including but not limited to managing , maintaining existing clientele for our business, canvass for new clients, looking for prospects and collaboration partners for the company. We require that our teammates are responsible, independent and mature, in executing their task.
In addition, an ability to communicate effectively and confidently is a bonus. As you may, meet up with customers, excellent interpersonal and presentation skills is an advantage. A good team-player and the ability to work/ perform under pressure.
Specific Responsibilities:
Identifying New Business Opportunities:
Conducting market research to identify potential markets and business opportunities.
Analyzing market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
Developing Growth Strategies:
Creating and implementing plans to increase revenue and market share.
Setting clear metrics to evaluate the success of growth initiatives.
Client Relationship Management:
Managing and retaining relationships with existing clients.
Identifying and engaging with potential new clients to expand the client base.
Negotiation and Proposal Development:
Negotiating terms and contracts with clients and partners.
Drafting and presenting business proposals that are persuasive and well-structured.
Collaboration with Internal Teams:
Working closely with marketing, sales, and product development teams to align strategies and ensure cohesive efforts.
Ensuring all team members represent the company in the best light.
Market Research and Competitive Analysis:
Conducting thorough market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitive landscape.
Identifying strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT analysis) to inform business strategies.
Networking and Industry Engagement:
Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events to network and promote the company.
Building and maintaining a network of industry contacts and potential partners.
Reporting and Performance Tracking:
Preparing regular reports for upper management to track progress and ROI of business development activities.
Using CRM tools to maintain a pipeline of all sales, marketing, and business development activities
Technical Skills and Competencies:
CRM Software Proficiency: Mastery of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems like Salesforce or HubSpot is crucial. This includes managing contacts, sales pipelines, and customer interactions to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
Market Analysis and Business Intelligence: Ability to analyze market trends, competitor activities, and potential business opportunities. This involves collecting and interpreting data to inform strategic decisions.
