Senior Engineer - Tier 1 Contractor - Major Civils Project - Carlisle

Role overview:

My client is a World Leading Construction and Civil Engineering Company.

They are presently delivering major substation project in the Carlisle area and need reinforcements in the form of a Senior Engineer.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience civil engineering projects and will be leading a section of the project and have a couple of engineers under them.

My client would currently consider applications from those seeking both permanent and contract positions.

Duties include:

• Manage all engineering activity providing direction to the direct workforce and subcontractors
• Quality control to ensure the standards are met in accordance to the design specifications
• Assist in producing permits to break ground (CAT Scanning management)
• Ensuring the highest health, safety and environmental standards are met on site adhering to the client's and business's requirement
• Liaise with the site team to approve materials ensuring they meet specification
• Keep accurate records of progress reports, site diaries and resource allocations
• Produce as-built drawings in AutoCAD
