Screening and Assessment - The Social Worker may be required to assess and screen Veterans in the HUD/VASH program. Coordination of Non-Institutional and Institutional Services -The Social Worker is responsible for the coordination of VA and non-VA services and programs, including inpatient and outpatient substance abuse treatment, mental health, medical services, and in-home services.
Supportive Counseling- As part of the HUD/VASH program, each Veteran will receive supported counseling on an individual and group basis.

We run a diverse trials portfolio spanning the entire range of systemic treatment options (cytotoxic chemotherapy, targeted, biological and immunotherapy agents and viral based cancer therapies).

The post is set up to support both research and clinical duties. In order to maintain clinical experience, post holder will be expected to attend outpatient clinics, sub-specialty meetings, and ward rounds as well as support delivery of care to patients receiving treatment in clinical trials.

Operational Oversight of IRS Facilities' Physical Security: Manages a full range of security deliverables for assigned facilities including maintaining and tracking equipment, equipment inspections, repairs, and operating statuses; independently conducting recurring and special security assessments including Facility Security Level (FSL) Risk Assessment and Addendums following Federal Protective Service (FPS) and Interagency Security Committee (ISC) requirements for assigned facilities, reporting on recurring assessments, and implementing corrective actions when required; responding to a broad range of requests from executives, managers, and employees from all IRS business areas regarding such matters as resolving discrepancies in building accesses and overseeing responses by others to routine service requests. • Provides care within the treatment plan, and coordinates with the veteran and the team to promote the continuity of care with veteran who may be experiences a heightened level of risk based upon factors;
• Collaborates and participates in meetings with providers, both VA and community, as needed relating to shared veterans to ensure and promote the continuity of care and establish appropriate referrals;
• Receives programmatic guidance from the Women's Health Program Manager; and
• Assumes other general social work responsibilities and duties as assigned.
