Pathogens evolve and can cause outbreaks, as played out by the current COVID-19 pandemic. A key challenge in public health management is to be proactive in disease surveillance and detection, and to keep up to speed with evolving pathogens. You will be working in a multi-disciplinary environment, where your research is translated into evidence-based public health programmes and policies. You will be expected to lead a dynamic team that works closely with a network of local and international collaborators to shape the field-to-laboratory preparedness and response programme for biological agents. You will be involved in leading various activities including, but not limited to, experimental design, work process enhancement, sample preparation and assay development, and its necessary procurement efforts. You are also expected to publish findings in scientific journals, and present at major scientific meetings. As part of the national HealthierSG initiative to transform the way healthcare is delivered, NUHS Regional Health System Office (RHSO) is setting up a Care and Call Centre (CareHub) to support the western population through phone calls, telemedicine and digital communication platforms to become healthier and take charge of own health.

You will be responsible to support the smooth operations and administration of CareHub. Your exceptional organizational skills, discretion, and ability to handle complex tasks will be instrumental in ensuring operation success. You will be instrumental in supporting the monitoring of CareHub’s key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensuring that CareHub’s service standards are met to deliver a positive customer experience for residents and community partners who reach in to CareHub for support to age well in the community.

You will also participate in the development, implementation and review of CareHub’s functions and initiatives, as well as be a knowledge champion to continuously support our call centre officers to obtain and maintain competency in managing resident and partners’ queries within KPIs and standards. Roles and Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Job Description:

We are looking for talented and highly motivated candidate to work on the research and development of flat optics. The recruited scientist will work in the National Semiconductor Translation and Innovation Centre (NSTIC), managed by A*STAR.

The candidate should have a solid background and hands-on experience in the research of optics. Candidate shall be able to perform independent research and solve challenging problems together with the team to deliver high impact results.

The main work scope of the position is as follow:

· Design and simulation of flat optics, including using machine learning method.

· Micro-nanofabrication of flat optics and their characterization.

· Technology development and translation to industry applications.

Job Requirements:

· PhD in Physics or Optics, Photonics, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science with at least 5 years of relevant experience

· Hands-on experiences on flat optics or metaoptics are added advantages.

· Good team player, resilient in tackling challenge, effective communication ability.
