We are looking for a motivated & enthusiastic individual who will be part of a multidisciplinary team working with patients in their own homes to provide holistic care. Your primary responsibility will be to assist with enabling people to maintain their independence at home and supporting people after they have left hospital. The post holder needs to be flexible and able to use their own initiative. The post-holder will provide high standards of patient care in support of the team to ensure delivery of a high quality service to the local community.

Experience not required, as full training and induction will be given. Opportunities to complete your SVQ in Health & Social Care, and the possibility of further career progression

A driving licence is essential for this post and applicants should have access to their own vehicle for work purposes, travel expenses available. There are pool vehicles available in rural areas.

This is a 13.9 hours per week post, hours will be 07:00 – 11:00, worked on a rota basis of four days on four days off, with a back-to-back. Enhancements paid for unsociable hours and weekend work.

As a Senior Hydraulic Engineer, you will work closely with the engineering teams to deliver water, wastewater treatment and network projects, from feasibility through to detailed design stages. - Delivering Hydraulic Engineering on a range of projects from feasibility through outline and detailed design stages

- Mentoring more junior colleagues. Providing technical guidance and advice on best practice in hydraulic design to others

- You will work closely and collaboratively with the construction team and supply chain to develop efficient, practical and safe solutions throughout the design stages, into construction and post project review.

What you can offer:

- Qualified to degree level, and ideally Chartered, Incorporated, or working towards with a relevant professional institution (ICE, IMechE, CIWEM)
- Proven track-record in providing outline design, detailed design and construction support services relevant to the water/wastewater sector

Preparation of monthly reconciliations of all inter-company balances in line with company procedures
Work closely with the financial controller to prepare annual budgets and forecasts where necessary
Prepare year end financial statements together with supporting schedules and liaise with external auditors as required
Calculate and prepare all statutory accounts and tax payments to ensure compliance with ATO requirements
Ensure appropriate cash receipting procedures are at all times compliant with company policy
Regularly monitor warranty claims and other receivables from the franchisor
Supervise all company stocktakes and ensure adequate stock control
Any other miscellaneous duties as required
