A well-known property development organisation is working with Hays to find a candidate who will join them as an Accounts Payable Assistant on a permanent basis. Hybrid working will be offered with the offices being based in South Lanarkshire. Flexible working is available. The organisation has on site parking and is served well by public transport.
Your new role
In your new role, you will be reporting directly to Finance Manager. Your role will entail multiple duties, such as invoice processing in a fast-paced environment. You will also assist with the bank reconciliations, payment runs, mailbox management, reporting for management and general associated finance administration.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you must have had previous experience in a similar position with the ability to come in and hit the ground running. You must also have the ability to communicate clearly with others in both written and verbal formats. The correct individual must also have good attention to detail as this will be required regularly.

Week 1 – Monday to Friday 9-5pm (1 hour lunch unpaid)

South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture are looking for an Assistant Museum Officer to be a key member of the museum collections team. The successful applicant will support, develop and help deliver all aspects of collections care for a large, local authority museum collection. The role includes taking in new collections, cataloguing, collections research, exhibition development, and identifying and obtaining funding to deliver collections development projects in line with organisational and sector priorities.

Applicants should hold a post graduate museum qualification or educated to degree level and have a minimum of one year’s museum collections experience, including previous inventory and cataloguing work.

Knowledge of a collections management system will be advantageous. You should also have an understanding of Spectrum standards, the requirements of Museum Accreditation and collections management procedures. Good written communication and report writing skills as well as knowledge of British/Scottish military history are also desirable.

Applicants will undergo a competency based interview and a short, practical exercise in collections handling.
