• You will manage the administrative activities of the NROTC Programs.
• You will conduct administrative orientation briefs for new students. Maintains all student records, files, and collects data required in administering all aspects of the NROTC program.
• You will compose a variety of Naval and business letters, memoranda, directives, statistical and narrative reports, endorsement, messages and forms, utilizing a computer, as appropriate.
• You will obtain, evaluate, and process all related medical program requirements and medical examinations.

Major Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Provides assistance to team members in performing duties associated with the day-to-day operation of the specialty program.
• Managing all incoming and outgoing correspondence, obtaining background information, formulating responses to routine and non-technical inquiries, and routing correspondence of a technical nature to appropriate staff members.
• Manages correspondence and assigns documents for response in a timely, complete and professional manner where due dates are required.
• Answers telephones, greets patients, takes messages, and notifies patients of appointments.
• Arranges, prepares and attends department staff meetings. Takes minutes and prepares them for distribution.
• Handles requests for information and resolves or assists in resolving a variety of complaints made by patients and/or their families.
• Collects necessary data, prepares national reports and submits required documents.
• Serves as onsite ADPAC for entering and tracking non-equipment IT service requests.
• Serves as one of several timecard keepers.
• Other duties as assigned

The role of Cleaning Assistant involves the below:

• Maintaining front and back of house cleaning
• Excellent attention to detail
• Duties will include vacuuming, mopping, surface cleaning, floor polishing and cleaning of the kitchenette and bathroom areas
• Using heavy floor polishing buffer machine

The Advanced MSA must assist with clinic access contingency plans by adjusting appointment times, location, or dates as well as shift patients to other healthcare providers as conflict with staffing and/or coverage occurs. The incumbent may be required to serve on more than one PACT or in more than one Specialty Clinic area, or rotate in any MSA area. Major duties include, but are not limited too:

• Collects, scans, and updates health insurance information serving a major role in the revenue process. The incumbent(s) contributes to the revenue collection process by identifying patients with third-party insurance.
• Promotes veteran registration for and utilization of MyHealtheVet (MHV).
• Supports patient safety standards using the correct Veterans Affairs identification of all patients through the use of two forms of identification, name and full Social Security Number.
