SEN Teaching Assistant needed in a Mainstream Primary School 5 days per week term time (8:30am - 3.30pm)

A popular mainstream primary school in Longbridge are looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant who is comfortable helping with complex and challenging needs to work within their school and help generally across all year groups with those children who require additional support.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a very well respected and popular school which has a very warm feel to it and is a great opportunity to gain long term employment with flexibility.
The hours are 8.30am - 3.30pm , Monday to Friday during term time.
This role involves being proactive and passionate, and you must have initiative to get involved and help the children when they are distressed, or in situations that may need de-escalating.
Your responsibilities will include providing one-to-one support, and creating close relationships with the student, therefore it is essential that you are passionate about getting the very best from the students and their learning, and committed to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
• Level 2 / 3 Qualification in Supporting and Learning in Schools is
preferred but not essential • SEN experience is essential as the needs of the children are complex
• Experience in a similar role is
essential as we need to be able to reference your experience
• Flexibility and adaptability
• DBS - Full enhanced CHILD ONLY
• x2 references to show education/childcare related experience
