Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one and small group support for children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), ensuring each child's individual needs are met and their potential is nurtured.
- Assist in creating and delivering engaging, fun activities that support learning in all areas, from communication and motor skills to social-emotional development.
- Collaborate with teachers and SEN coordinators to develop personalised learning plans and strategies that help children succeed.
- Support children throughout their daily routines, from mealtimes to playtime, always prioritising their happiness, well-being, and safety.
- Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues - making sure every child feels valued and cared for.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience with SEN: We are looking for someone with experience working with children with SEN, or a strong passion for supporting children with additional needs.
- A Love for Early Years: If you're passionate about working with young children and committed to helping them grow, we want you on our team!
- Qualifications: A Level 3 Childcare qualification (or equivalent) is desirable, but your enthusiasm, dedication, and experience are what really matter.
- A Team Player: You'll be working alongside an incredible team of professionals - strong communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude are essential.
- Patience and Empathy: Every child is unique, and we need someone who can show understanding, patience, and creativity to meet their individual needs.
