This new role is a great opportunity for a candidate who wants to be part of a new service development and take on a clinical leadership role working with a diverse group of colleagues along with working clinically with people who present with varied and complex mental health needs. The Doncaster Primary Mental Health Hub has been growing since February 2023 and now has a rich mix of roles, including mental health practitioners, CAPs, MHWP working together with an integrated peer support and care navigation offer from voluntary sector organisations.

The post holder will provide clinical leadership to mental health roles across the Primary Care Networks (PCNs) and hubs. Within the primary care setting, the role holder will work in a collaborative and multi-agency way. They will work closely with secondary care colleagues too to develop and sustain a ‘No Wrong Door’ approach and access to the right service at the right time.

The post holder will work closely with the team manager and psychological therapies lead to further develop this team to deliver innovative ways of supporting people to improve their mental health and wellbeing and support recovery.

The post will facilitate the interface between Primary Care and Secondary Mental Health Services to provide expert clinical leadership and knowledge to the local Primary Care Teams, for patients and carers. The role will offer expertise in networking and navigation to promote ease of access to a range of specialist mental health support services.



The post holder will be an effective member of the multi-disciplinary team. They will be professionally accountable and responsible for patient care, clinical supervision and leadership of mental health staff. They will interpret policy and best practice guidance and apply it to the clinical based services, ensuring that they remain modern and fit for purpose.

ABOUT THE NURSE RGN ROLE (NIGHTS)
Our Nursing Teams are highly valued, skilled, friendly and naturally kind- and warm-hearted individuals who thrive in their roles, by mentoring others whilst focussing on the personal needs of our residents, empowering and delivering the care they deserve.
You will have a wide range of responsibilities to include making critical clinical decisions, assessing and developing person centred care plans, safely providing nursing care including administering medication, dressings and management of resident’s medical conditions.

Managing delivery costs and customer charges to achieve agreed targets.

Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and setting challenging targets to minimise payroll cost

Understanding the local market in order to offer the best service in your area ensuring fantastic customer service and satisfaction.

Managing your team effectively to cover all customer service requirements and engaging with customers, using feedback to improve service and satisfaction

Working with the regional team, assisting the business to identify opportunities while developing or improving ways of working.

Previous experience and knowledge of deliveries/ transport are essential in addition to:

This is a part time vacancy working 35 hours any 5 days out of 7 will include weekends

You will work seamlessly with the Morning and Night Delivery Managers to support the Area Manager to ensure that the Delivery Service from your Delivery Hub is best in class. You will manage a department which is Safe, Secure and Legal at all times, maximising efficiency, and delivering accurately and on time to our customer.

• Ensuring that all picking activity is managed accurately, pickers are fully trained, and the picker board is kept up to date. i
• Overseeing that journey pre-briefs and de-briefs are completed effectively, and action taken where required.
• Effective use of the systems available to you to run the department. Eg Deskpro management, and that Tachos are downloaded correctly. Training will be provided.
• Overseeing timely and appropriate processing of returns.
• Ensuring that diary tasks are completed and recorded as necessary.
• Effective security checking is completed.
• Overseeing efficient and effective Driver turnaround.
• Managing all replenishment task in line with Booker Be the Best At policies.
