We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Night Team Leader to join our clients Food Production team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and leadership skills to support the shift supervisor in ensuring the safe and efficient production of high-quality food products.

Key Responsibilities:

Check the quality of products, including weights, measures, and bake profiles

Supervise and manage team members, providing guidance and support

Ensure production targets are met consistently

Monitor shift performance targets

Ensure Health and Safety procedures and policies are followed at all times

Conduct spot checks on all processes from mixing to packing finished products

Encourage and develop team members to achieve their full potential

Report food safety and quality issues as they occur

Ensure hygiene standards are met for pre and post-production activities

Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards and ensure they are followed by the team

Process and complete documentation accurately for safe production and full traceability

Ensure the bakery is audit-ready at all times

Report machine breakdowns and defects following the correct procedure

Attend SIC review meetings and provide feedback on performance

Conduct performance reviews for team members at the set frequency

Communicate relevant information to team members, such as actions from near-miss reports

Identify training requirements for the team and yourself and communicate them to the line manager

The School is in its third year of opening, with students in Y7, Y8 and Y9 only, and when full it will have a shared Sixth Form provision with Barton Court Grammar School providing a wide-range of vocational and academic courses. We have a vision and a determination to provide our community with an excellent school and we are making great strides towards this.
