About the Role: We are looking to appoint a teacher of Computing and Business Studies who is looking for a new challenge and is willing to join an innovative and forward-thinking department. The ideal candidate must have a real passion for their subject and be equipped with the skills to maximise outcomes for students at both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. This is a Contract role, looking for an experienced NMP to begin working as soon as possible.

As directed by the NMP Lead, Assistant Medical Director and the Services Medical Lead you will be part of the multi-disciplinary and multi-agency team delivering recovery orientated alcohol and drug intervention services.

The Non Medical Prescriber will be responsible for:

• Assess, diagnose, plan; implement and evaluate treatment and interventions and care for service users.
• Clinically assess service user needs and plan clinical care accordingly.
• Diagnose and manage on an individual needs basis, integrating both drug and non-drug based treatment methods into a management plan, in conjunction with the Recovery Coordinator.
• Identify and assess suitability of service users for in-patient alcohol and opioid detoxification as appropriate.
• Proactively review and manage clinical treatment plans of the service user.

• The post holder will be based at Royal Preston Hospital, although some sessionsmayhave to be performed at Chorley depending on the needs of the trust.

• Appropriatetravelling allowances will be paid.

• The departments of cardiologyacross bothPreston andChorley Hospital arecloselyintegrated.

• The post holder will initially be appointed for 10 programmedactivities(PA)

• The post holder will be on call for temporary pacing andpericardiocentesison a 1 to 6 rota in line with the national requirements.

• The Trust will be movingforward to a7-day servicesin due course. The post holder should expect toparticipatein a 7-day service whenthiscomesinto place. This will be agreedseparatelywhen the need arises.

TheDepartment ofCardiology sitswithin theDivision ofEmergency andGeneralMedicine. This consists ofAcuteMedicine, Cardiology, Respiratory, Diabetes and Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Dermatology, Stroke and Medicine for the Elderly.These units are very well developed, and there is a close link with aTertiaryDivision ofRenalMedicine andNeurology. MedicalAssessmentUnits andEmergencyDecisionsUnit exist at both sites.
