Job Overview

We are seeking a boilerman to join our team in for our palm oil mill based overseas (Papua New Guinea).

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Responsible to operate, check, monitor and carry out maintenance of boiler operation.
• Responsible for boiler system care and maintenance.
• Responsible for ensuring that DOSH rules and regulations are complied.
• Responsible for controlling steam pressure and water level in the boiler drum.
• Responsible for ensuring the area around the boiler system is safe and clean.
• Responsible for ensuring the safe operation of the boiler and auxiliary systems.
• Responsible for fulfilling and performing tasks in accordance with ISO systems, EMS, RSPO, ISCC and company standard requirements.
• Ensure good agricultural practices and compliance to company’s policies & procedures.
• To prepare maintenance schedule and reports on a monthly basis.
• To have proper Boiler Chemicals Inventory control system.

REQUIREMENTS

• Candidate must possess at least SPM / SPMV / IKM / Professional Certificate or equivalent.
• Candidate with Boilerman 1st Grade and 2nd Grade certificate are encourage to apply.
• Experience: At least 5 years of working experience as Boilerman preferably in Palm Oil Mill.
• Required Language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English.
• Overseas working experience and exposure to plantation industry are added advantages

• Engage in leader responsibility for work operations of maintenance on heavy mobile equipment, vehicles and power support generators.
• Pass supervisor instructions to employees, distribute work among the work crews and check work in progress and when finished for compliance.
• Ensure needed plans, materials and tools are available, start the work while demonstrating proper work methods.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain and repair diesel and gasoline engines, transmissions, rear-ends, transaxles and fixed and mobile electrical generators.
• Maintain subsystems by cleaning, repairing, replacing or adjusting components as required. Utilize acetylene and electric welders to repair, modify or rebuild various mechanical components.
• Operate a variety of machine tools to fabricate, resurface and bore equipment parts and components.
• Operate hydraulic operated boom crane and forklift to mount and dismount generators.

This position utilizes knowledge of policies and procedures for delivery orders and small purchases and knowledge of commercial supply sources and common business practices related to sales, prices, discounts, units of measurement, deliveries, stocks, and shipments. The Purchasing Agent maintains responsibility for work leading to the purchase of a wide variety of complex and highly specialized services, supplies, equipment, and systems that support the full range of programs and activities. Major duties and responsibilities include:

• Purchasing Support - Conducts purchasing under the micro purchase threshold; reviews and edits purchase requests; resolves issues to ensure requests and bills are processed accurately and in a timely manner; identifies needs or problems and determines corrective action; utilizes federal and agency acquisition regulations to identify possible sources and other pertinent information related to purchases; tracks obligations/commitments and monitors expenditures to support recurring budget forecasts and identify potential fraud, waste and abuse based on procurement history and purchase trends; and,
• Procurement Support - Procures supplies and services to meet the purchase, rental, or lease needs of the organization; develops unique selection criteria for each purchase; Prepare and issue contract modifications for changes in delivery schedule and sends formal correspondence to a variety of customers such as inventory management specialists, other service line contacts, and contracting officers as appropriate for the purposes of auditing documents, processing receiving reports, and payments.; conducting open market research and sole source small purchases for highly specialized medical items with critical product requirements; and,
• Administrative Support - Serves as the first line of contact for medical staff and customers in regard to procured items; develops reports and spreadsheets, obtains, organizes, files and retrieves reports for briefing and presentation purposes; performs a variety of receptionist, timekeeping, record keeping and miscellaneous duties in medical facility; and,

Major duties include:

• Assisting the lead analyst in the analysis, design, development, evaluation and revision of training courses.
• Planning and conducting quality assurance assessments of all phases of the Instructional Systems Design Process.
• Assessing the strengths and weaknesses of various methods for performance and job-based training / learning, such as classroom, web- based, or on-the-job training.
• Determining the customers learning, training, and performance needs and developing recommendations to senior management on adopting, modifying, or discontinuing various types of instructional methods and approaches.

As a Lead Civil Engineer, you will:

• You will administer the Federal-aid highway program, interpreting and advising on Federal-aid laws, regulations, and policies for State and local organizations.

Under the general direction of the Principal Inspector or Supervisory Principal Inspector accomplishes the following duties:

A. Technical Administration

On a continuing basis, ensures assigned organizations are properly and adequately organized, staffed and equipped; establishes and conducts adequate training programs; maintains record keeping systems; and facilities and ensures procedures meet all regulatory requirements.

Chairs joint Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and industry meetings. Maintains regular contact with organizations assigned and coordinates with top management officials. Requires or directs correction of any deficiencies/discrepancies and refuses or withdraws approval if they cannot be resolved.

Responsible for conducting enforcement investigations and preparation of final reports and recommendations on disposition. Performs or supervises the emergency suspension of certificates or cancellation of operations specifications. Conducts or directs the reexamination of certificated airmen or recertification of an operator or agency.

Conducts investigations of public complaints, congressional inquiries, and aircraft incidents and accidents. Provides verbal and/or written technical assistance to legal counsel, testifies at court trials and formal hearings, and gives dispositions.

Coordinates minimum equipment list (MEL) approvals with the principal inspector. Takes enforcement action in instances of noncompliance with the MEL.

Coordinates with geographic inspectors for the accomplishment of non-routine air carrier surveillance.
Assists Principal Inspector in the planning and implementation of certificate holders surveillance via usage of the appropriate safety system.

B. Certification

Approves/accepts or disapproves/rejects manuals and revisions to such manuals. May require amendments to previously approved manuals to accomplish the following: correct any conflict with regulatory requirements; eliminate unsafe practices: and/or improve the specificity of instruction.

Evaluates training programs to ensure that they meet the requirements of 14 CFR. Approves or disapproves these training programs including flight simulators, training devices, or other such equipment used in these programs.

Approves/disapproves designation of check airmen and makes recommendations on the appointment of designees.
Evaluates operations and facilities by on-site inspections and review of reports by geographic inspectors or others. Negotiates changes essential or desirable in their policies and procedures. Determines the appropriate methods and/or plans for securing corrective action and determines through on-site inspection or inspector reports the effectiveness of any action.

Evaluates and approves/disapproves requests to operate under conditions not previously authorized and may prescribe additional conditions and limitations as appropriate.

Approves the original issuance of operations specifications and issues original operating certificates. Approves amendments to operations specifications. Evaluates the safety of proposed changes in route or airport authorizations; prescribes any changes required before approval.

Directs or participates in flight evaluations to determine compliance with 14 CFR. Recommends changes that will be required prior to approval.

Develops and implements independent and interdependent engineering studies to resolve issues and/or identify problems. Analyzes, tests and evaluates operational and technical information; identifies, mitigates or resolves current or potential problems with systems. Evaluates existing/proposed policies, standards, requirements, and objectives for efficient performance of programs and systems. Evaluates state-of-the-art technology, aerospace engineering concepts, and potentially useful tests and evaluations internal and external to FAA. Analyzes trends, developments, and performance data. Determines compatibility with established/planned systems and their desirability and effectiveness. Identifies requirements for new or modified standards, objectives, policies, or system modifications.

Submits fully documented recommendations for systems acquisition, approval, and/or modification to supervisor. Functions as Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) during the acquisition and procurement cycle. Participates in a team that reviews contractor proposals for adequacy of design, and for operation, maintenance, and implementation procedures. Conducts feasibility, cost-benefit, and other studies for technical and fiscal adequacy. Submits evaluations and recommendations to Contracting Officer.

Participates and contributes to an interdisciplinary team of technical experts to develop, test, evaluate, and/or implement aircraft systems and/or components that impact the NAS. Represents the organizational unit at various seminar, committee, user group panel, and conference meetings at intraagency, interagency, aviation industry, and national levels.

Coordinates and provides technical guidance to managers and sponsors. Identifies existing or potential problems. Assists in defining requirements, proposes alternatives, and coordinates solutions with sponsors. Provides periodic status reports to supervisors. Identifies existing/potential problems which may impact on established or proposed plans, identifies alternatives, and provides recommendations. Conducts administrative or on-site comprehensive reviews of existing or proposed projects; verifies cost estimates with managers throughout the FAA. Identifies questionable parts of proposals or procedures. Develops funding documents and/or schedules and milestones.

As a Supervisory Hydrologist (Branch Chief for Data) within the New Mexico Water Science Center, some of your specific duties will include:

• Serves as a member of the NMWSC (New Mexico Water Science Center) Senior Management Team and principal advisor to the NMWSC Center Director concerning the collection, analysis, quality assurance, and publication of hydrologic data.
• Exercises a broad range of supervisory responsibilities through subordinate supervisors; oversees employee career development, performance evaluations, and makesdecisions on promotions, training, and awards.
• Manages and directs all NMWSC Hydrologic Data activities, a program consisting of approximately 45 employees with a budget of more than $5 million annually.
• Develops, plans, and administers the operations and activities of the NMWSC Data Program with over 30 reimbursable cooperators from State and local governments, Tribes, and Other Federal agencies.
• Develops and secures reimbursable funds to sustain and grow the financial stability of the NMWSC Hydrologic Data program; uses the Center's Cooperative Matching Funds to negotiate over 30 reimbursable agreements annually with external partners.
• Advises Water Resources Mission Area on the prioritization of New Mexico's Federal Priority Stream-gages.
• Operates a government owned/leased vehicle as an incidental driver.
