Warehouse Stock Auditor - Biggleswade - £22,405

Own transport required

The position

• This is a full time permanent position based at our customers distribution centre in Biggleswade
• Rate of pay: £22,405 per annum
• Weekly hours: 37.5 hours plus daily 30-min unpaid break
• Shift Patterns: 5 days out of 7 - 8-hour shifts between 10pm-8am +0.50p per hour night allowance
• Working Environment - Chilled
• Own transport required

A day in the life of a Warehouse Operative

As a Warehouse Operative, you will work as part of a dynamic and supportive team in what can be described as a fast-paced and target driven environment to ensure the stock entering or leaving the depot is accurate.

Our activities vary, so often, you may be required to work across multiple different workstreams such as Goods Inbound checks, Picker Accuracy audits and Load Adherence checks most of which require periods of manual handling.

Job activities

• Audit the Inbound accuracy of supplier deliveries on the GFR program.
• Audit Picker accuracy of stock destined for stores and fully investigate all errors found.
• Adhere to agreed audit and error verification procedures at all times.
• Maintain integrity at all times.
• Ensure the expected productivity levels are achieved, in line with customer expectations.
• Review daily targets in line with customer expectations.

Typical working hours as a full time DeKit Recycling Operative:

• Day Shift: 06:00-14:00
• Mid Shift: 10:00-18:00
• PM Shift: 14:00-22:00
• Shifts are any 5 days out of 7

Your pay rate as a full time DeKit Recycling Operative:

• 06:00-14:00: £12.00 - O/T £18.00 / Weekend Pay rate: £13.80 - O/T £19.80
• 14:00-22:00: £13.80 - O/T £18.00 / Weekend Pay rate: £15.60 - O/T £19.80
• 22:00-06:00: £15.00 - O/T £18.00 / Weekend Pay rate: £16.80 - O/T £19.80
• Breaks: 30-minute unpaid break
• Overtime paid after 37.5hrs pw

Your role as a DeKit Recycling Operative:

• You will be decanting rubbish (cardboard, plastic, food waste) from cages and totes returned from stores.
• You must enjoy physical work as you will be on your feet throughout your shift
