Applications are invited for the posts of Financial Analyst in the Finance Department at Royal Holloway. We would welcome applications from recent graduates or early careers professionals interested in undertaking a finance qualification.
These roles are based in the Financial Planning and Analysis team. The role is vital to the success of the team and involves providing support to budget holders and working with complex data in Excel to provide insights.
The post holders will work closely with the School Finance Business Partners in providing essential support and will be responsible for the day-to-day aspects of the business. This will include maintaining financial models, supporting the budgeting and forecasting process, analysing complex information, providing support to budget holders and processing month end and year end tasks.
The successful candidates will be expected to study towards a professional accountancy qualification for which there will be a generous support package. It is essential that they possess excellent communication skills, IT skills (especially in Excel), the have ability to interpret large data sets, and have ambition to succeed in a career in finance.
