RETAIL FINANCE MANAGER | HIGH WYCOMBE

We’re looking for a fabulous Finance Manager to join our finance team and play a key role in managing and developing a team to ensure high standards of cost accounting, reporting and forecasting, interpreting results and trends to deliver insight to the business to assist in decision making and effective cost management.

Reporting to the Head of Financial Control & Reporting you will be pivotal within the Finance team driving and delivering the transformation strategy.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

· Promote a strong cost control culture and enhance the visibility and analysis of key costs to facilitate more efficient management.

· Lead the team in delivering month-end process, preparing and analysing month-end profit and loss statements with insightful variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior year.

· Drive a strong business partnering ethos in the team taking ownership for conducting monthly meetings with head of departments to discuss results, risks and opportunities.

· Take the lead in driving a more efficient and data-driven department. This involves implementing streamlined processes, leveraging technology for routine tasks, and fostering a culture that values data-driven decision-making.

· Take responsibility for providing the monthly flash forecast and delivering the annual budget and quarterly forecast, including reviewing and challenging relevant budget holders.

· Ensure strict adherence to group policies by overseeing day-to-day business cost management and reporting and maintaining strong balance sheet controls.

· Take ownership of IFRS16 compliance, maintaining robust accounting and budgetary controls, and serving as the primary contact for Group Finance regarding the lease accounting.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

· ACCA/CIMA qualified or qualified by experience, ideally Retail or FMCG background

· Strong core accounting and technical skills

· Previous experience of working in a similar role, delivering efficiencies and cost control

· Demonstrable experience of managing and developing a team of part qualified studiers

· Experience in one of more top ERP system, preferably Oracle Financials

· Excellent proficiency in Excel and prior use of Data Warehouse

· Knowledge of IFRS16 would be desirable

Security Manager| HIGH WYCOMBE

We’re looking for a fabulous Security Manager to join our Security team and play a key role in the safety and security for our employees, retail stores, warehouse, and company assets.

You’ll work collaboratively with the Leadership team, Senior Management team and the Retail Operations team to develop and implement comprehensive security policies and procedures ensuring alignment of the security and shrinkage strategy for the business, to minimise loss.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

· Analyse business data and trends to identify areas of risk across TPS and provide actionable insights, taking appropriate action and providing solutions for online and in store.

· Develop and maintain security metrics and KPIS to measure the effectiveness of security programs and technology.

· Manage and report on all security costs and budgets and represent TPS in local and group tenders for provision of security services.

· Respond to security incidents and emergencies and conduct Investigations and police liaison following losses caused by either internal or external theft or fraud with pace and urgency.

· Collaborate with other departments and Security functions in the AS Watson group on key strategic opportunities and to integrate security considerations into business operations.

· Maintain up to date knowledge for all legal security compliance to include GDPR and ensure compliance with all relevant security regulations, standards, and best practice.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

· You need a lot of experience of working at an equivalent level in a retail or a similar customer obsessed business and you understand all aspects of Retail security, being aware of trends, security technologies and system solutions, and opportunities in the industry.

CRM & Loyalty Manager| HIGH WYCOMBE

We’re looking for a fabulous CRM & Loyalty Manager to join our customer team and play a key role in developing The Perfume Shop VIP Rewards strategy to drive growth of our VIP loyalty programme.

You’ll be working closely with all areas of our business, customers and suppliers to deliver an optimised commercial, communication and engagement plan to achieve our business KPI’s.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

· Work closely with The Perfume Shop commercial teams to develop our VIP customer promotional activity including always on benefits for the programme, strategic promotional overlays around KCPs and events and programmatic activity to reactivate and grow customers based on the lifecycle

· Utilise customer segmentation to target Online and Offline and cross channel messaging to drive active rate and traffic/footfall. This includes AB and multi-variable message testing, identify new channels to contact customers and utilising our customer data across digital channels.

· Work closely with our operations team to deliver key messages to our store teams to drive engagement with our VIP programme and proactively take feedback to our systems teams to improve the customer journey and improve processes to drive conversion and sign up rates.

· Build strategic partnership with our suppliers to drive effective communication with customers and create funding for our programme including added benefits for customers to improve repeat and retention rates.

· Proactively look for the latest technology and developments to improve our services and customer journey, working across departments within The Perfume Shop and ASWatson to ensure smooth delivery online, in stores and for our customers.

· Manage a CRM budget ensuring a strong return on investment for any activity and working with finance to monitor the overall CRM programme costs.

· Manage a team of direct and indirect reports developing, coaching, and mentoring them, taking ownership for conducting regular one to one meetings and appraisals in a timely manner, setting clear and achievable objectives and ensuring development plans are in place.

Online Experience Manager| HIGH WYCOMBE

We’re looking for a fabulous Online Experience Manager to join our Online Business team and play a key role in accelerate the digital performance of The Perfume Shop by leading technical roadmaps to improve the user experience and conversion on the website & app.

· Build forecasts for expected annual performance across all KPIs on a quarterly basis. Forecast the impact of promotional activity on expected performance, communicating this within the business to influence commercial decision making.

· Monitor performance vs. forecast and budgets, demonstrating an in-depth knowledge of the performance drivers on the site by providing commentary and insight on key metrics. Spot trends in performance indicators to identify opportunities to enhance performance.

· Build a high performing team environment within the Online Business Trading team by coaching, supporting and developing the team effectively with development plans, resulting in business and development objectives being achieved.

We’re looking for a fabulous People Partner to join our People team and play a key role in supporting our Head Office and Warehouse Managers.

You’ll be a fantastic and inspirational People Partner helping grow our managers skillset and capabilities to continue to lead their high performing teams.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

· Act as People Partner and trusted advisor to Head Office and Warehouse Managers and to build their people skills through facilitation, guidance, training and coaching where required on topics such as Disciplinary and Grievance, Absence, Performance Management, and Probation Reviews.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

· CIPD qualified to a minimum Level 5 and keen to continue professional studies.

· Have previous experience in a similar role and/or want to step up from a HR Advisor role and expand knowledge and responsibilities.

· Knowledge of core partnering activities including but not limited to, performance management, talent and succession planning, employee engagement.

· Up-to-date and thorough knowledge of employment legislation and its practical application in a commercial fast-moving environment.

We’re looking for an incredible Head of Financial Reporting & Control join our Finance team. We are looking for someone with energy to lead, build and improve in all that they are involved in.

You’ll ensure the financial integrity of the business in all aspects of financial accounting, reporting, planning, analysis and partnership in decision making covering all Costs and related KPI measures whilst maintaining strong financial controls. You will also play a key part in our finance transformation strategy, leading projects and driving a culture of business process improvement.

Financial Reporting & Control:

· Assume leadership of a dedicated team overseeing the accounting, reporting and reconciliation of business costs and balance sheet accounts.

· Deliver consolidated group accounts monthly and extended reporting package quarterly

· Lead on statutory account process

· Responsible for ensuring tax compliance (Corporation and deferred Tax, SAO, VAT, Customs)

· Responsibility for the Accounts Payable/Receivable and Cash teams, overseeing the teams and signing off on key control areas, setting, reviewing and challenging the KPI’s

Business partnering

· Drive a strong business partnering ethos in the team, leading by example and sponsoring initiatives within the Senior Management Team to drive a data decision making culture.
