We are looking to appoint a permanent full time Behaviour Support Mentor to support the Behaviour Lead with implementing our Positive Behaviour Support policy and procedures, which places relationships, safety and security at the heart of positive behaviour. Based predominantly at our Rochdale campus you will work closely with learners and families to identify positive solutions and remove the barriers that can impact on successful progression. You will also work with external services and agencies.
You will ideally have experience of working with young people and have the ability to inspire and motivate, forming effective and nurturing relationships to promote positive behaviour changes. Its important that you have high levels of literacy, organisational and reporting skills, able to work in a busy environment prioritising demands and workload and modelling the behaviour we wish to see in others.
