About the Role
• In this dynamic role, you’ll be responsible for both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs across the campus.
• Your work will ensure the smooth operations of maintenance, minimising disruption to the student experience.
• Performing electrical maintenance and minor repairs, as well as supporting the broader facilities team when needed.
• Investigating electrical issues, performing repairs, or coordinating with external contractors to ensure timely resolutions.
• Promoting a strong Health & Safety culture and ensuring compliance with statutory regulations.
• Maintaining accurate records of electrical work and liaising with the administration team to ensure the buildings and services meet compliance.
• Communicating with staff to minimise disruption during maintenance tasks.
About You
• We are looking for a skilled tradesperson or technical professional with an Electrical background who can take on the responsibility of maintaining and repairing electrical systems across campus.
• Hold a relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering and possess hands-on experience with electrical maintenance and repairs.
• Be competent using hand and power tools, as well as electrical test equipment, to carry out general electrical tasks.
• Be an excellent communicator, able to work collaboratively with your team and provide a high-quality maintenance service that enhances the customer experience.
• Be proactive, with a ‘can do’ attitude and able to work autonomously or a spart of a small team within the Maintenance division.
• Have strong problem-solving skills, quick to adapt in a customer-facing environment, and flexible to meet the evolving needs of a growing campus.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy when completing job details, identifying materials for orders, and updating work progress on your PDA.
• Hold a full UK driving licence.

Assistant Finance Business Partner Location: Home working Salary: £31,000 - £33,000 The Aurora Group The Aurora Group is an innovative provider of education and care for children, young people and adults with special educational needs and disabilities. Due to a recent internal promotion; we’re currently looking for an Assistant Finance Business Partner. Whilst the role is home based, there is a requirement to travel occasionally to Twigworth, Gloucestershire where our Central Office provides financial support, leadership and governance to the group as well as a number of our sites across the country. The Role: As a key member of the Finance Business Partnering Team you’ll be working closely with our Finance Analyst and Financial Controller in supporting one of our Finance Business Partners to ensure that the financial position and forecasting of a number of our services (schools/colleges) within the group is accurately reported. Whilst ensuring our Principals are kept fully abreast of financial matters relating to their site you’ll be expected to help and guide the sites’ leadership teams to maintain good budgetary control; ensuring they are fully versed in their financials and are enabled to make appropriate decisions as a result. For the services you’ll be responsible for; you’ll play a key a role in preparing the month end management accounts (with meaningful commentary and analysis); assisting the Finance Business Partner with the preparation of the annual budgets and monthly reforecasts; help to embed financial controls and processes on site and provide insightful analysis, performance monitoring and financial modelling as appropriate
Skills and Qualifications Experience: Successful candidates are likely to demonstrate: AAT Qualified (or studying towards CIMA) preferred. Experience in working in a Finance team, and experience of producing monthly management accounts and reports. Strong IT skills with good knowledge of Excel. High degree of accuracy/attention to detail. Excellent team player with strong communications skills, with an ability to clearly explain financial concepts to non-financial managers. Credibility and confidence to work with senior managers across the organisation. Whilst the role is predominantly home based there will be a need to work from our office in Twigworth when required as well the occasional visits to our services.

About the Role • Work as part of a team to provide support and guidance for our residential college and university students • Ensuring safeguarding, health and safety standards are maintained within student accommodation • Responsible for maintaining positive student behaviour within your designated halls • Providing a safe and nurturing environment for our residential students to enhance the student experience. • Conducting daily checks of residential halls to ensure students are maintaining the standards set out in their residential agreement • The successful candidate will be required to work between the hours of 7:45am to 4:15pm, Monday to Friday.
