PRIMARY SPECIALIST RESOURCE BASE (SRB) STAFF NEEDED – full time & permanent Pay scale
Teachers: MPS or UPS plus SEN allowance between £2,539-£5,009 depending on experience;

To support the needs of the children in our SRB we are looking to employ additional staff to make a positive difference to the lives of local children with Special Educational Needs and join our friendly and hardworking team. If you are a teacher, Learning Mentor, HLTA, or TA, including pastoral support assistant or someone with experience of supporting children in an educational setting you might be our missing puzzle piece! Canberra Class is well established within the school and provides education for 16 primary age children who have EHCPs with an identified primary SEMH need. You will have experience in leading learning for children with social, emotional, and mental health needs and the resilience to support them when they experience strong emotions. Using a therapeutic, nurturing approach the learning you plan, and deliver will be practical, engaging, meaningful and fun. Our SRB is an integral part of the school, and our children have the opportunity to learn and thrive both within the SRB environment and through inclusion opportunities within a mainstream class. We are looking for someone who: Loves learning and is passionate about leading learning, Is an exceptional practitioner with drive and aspiration demonstrating a calm and consistent approach towards SEMH children, Sets and models high expectations in all areas of school life, Has a proven track record of raising pupil outcomes, Relishes the challenge of working in a highly inclusive school, actively promoting the inclusion of our children in the SRB, Has a genuine interest in promoting the emotional health and well-being of pupils, Is highly organised, solution focused and resilient, Can develop positive personal relationships within a team; making an effective contribution to high morale, Has boundless enthusiasm, endless patience and a well-developed sense of humour!
