Our client, a reputable Multi-business Company, is looking for a Payroll Specialist
You will be reporting to the Senior HR Manager and will also be required to work collaboratively with outsourced payroll vendor, HRIS Project Manager and the HR business partners within the assigned business entities.
Job Responsibilities:
· Responsible for monthly payroll activities such as collating and validating inputs, output, and statutory payments by working closely with local payroll vendor in timely manner, with a high level of accuracy.
· Assist in the calculation and/or validation of assigned monthly variable pay elements such as employee claims, sales commission, incentive and overtime etc.
· Process monthly invoices relating to staff welfare, consultancy and payroll processing fee etc
· Ensure timely processing and payment of all government statutory related contribution and/or payments including submission of government claims and/or reimbursements.
· Responsible to check annual tax reporting submission
· Responsible for compiling monthly HR reports, statistics, forecasts, ad hoc requests as well as year-end reporting.
· Work collaboratively with Finance team to submit and validate finance journals, payroll cross charges, general ledger reconciliation and verification of bank statements in relation to payroll payments.
· Conduct regular audits on payroll procedures and records.
· Design, document and implement procedures to streamline payroll processes.
· Address and resolve employee payroll issues and questions promptly and professionally
· Partnering and working collaboratively with HR team and HRIS to elevate employee experience.
Requirements:
· 3- 5 years relevant experience with related, fast-growing, multi-business company
· Payroll experience in Retail/ F&B / consumer industry is advantageous due to job nature
· Providing high standard of payroll verification and checking skills for multiple entitles
· Solid knowledge of regulations and statutory requirements related to salaries, taxes, benefits and other payroll related matters required
· Experience in dealing with external payroll vendor
· Ability to create detailed spreadsheets, charts and presentations
· Experience in commission / incentive computation
