To be considered for the role of Nursery Manager you will have: - Level 3 (or above) childcare qualification
- Good knowledge of the EYFS
- Previous leadership experience (Senior Room Leader, Deputy Manager)
- Ability to motivate, inspire and lead a small team
- Friendly, approachable, and positive attitude
About the Nursery: The nursery has four bright spacious base rooms, each specifically designed for a particular age group and are all well-equipped to a high standard with stimulating educational resources and community play furniture. The nursery area is planned to emulate the child's home environment and as the children progress through the nursery, the balance moves gently but increasingly towards that of a classroom situation in preparation for school.

The role of a Nursery Manager within the Nursery involves: - Managing budgets, marketing, occupancy levels and KPI's.
- Preparing for Ofsted inspections.
- Assisting in the recruitment of nursery staff, manage inductions, supervisions, and appraisals.
- Leading the team and support in EYFS planning and looking at reflective practice.
- Managing staff rotas and staff meetings.
- Ensuring children's observations, assessment and development records are maintained.
- Having lead responsibility of Safeguarding and Health & Safety, ensuring all staff follow policy and procedures.
- Working in partnership with parents forming caring and trusting relationships.
- Liaising with the Local Authorities and other professionals associated with the nursery.
