The HR Director will be responsible for managing HR policies, programs, and initiatives, fostering a positive work culture, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.

You will also -

• Understand company business goals and manage all aspects of people in the company to help with our business expansion in and outside Singapore
• Drive a strong culture through organizational development interventions, coaching, and close partnerships with different departments
• Manage the performance management system. Develop and communicate career progression plans effectively with people in different departments
• Manage employee learning and development programs and help employees upgrade their skill sets. Develop succession planning for key roles
• Manage corporate communication and employer branding effectively. Ensure that the company’s strategic direction and business goals are clearly communicated throughout the company and identify gaps and fix them promptly
• Own employee satisfaction level
• Develop and administer region-specific human resources policies and procedures, ensure consistency with corporate policies, procedures, practices, and programs
• Develop and execute strategic workforce plans geared toward fuelling business growth
• Provide overarching HR strategic advice, support, and counsel to businesses. Identify key capabilities aligned with business goals, and conduct gap analysis.
• Attract, retain, and integrate an educated, high-quality, motivated, and engaged workforce. Partner closely with different departments and manage the entire recruitment and selection process for different teams in and outside Singapore within tight timelines
• Manage payroll, and make strategic plans for compensation and benefits to retain talents.

We would want to speak with you if you are/have –

• A start-up/growth scale-up mindset, flexible, and open to adapt to changing requirements when needed; roll-up-your-sleeves mindset
• A Bachelor’s degree, Master’s, or MBA a plus
• 10+ years of progressively complex/strategic HR experience, including organization effectiveness, staff relations, compensation, staff development and recruitment
• Minimum 5 years experience as a people leader with a strong drive to create a positive work environment
• Proficient with Employment Law in APAC
• Acute business acumen, strong leadership, planning, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to interact with and influence all levels of management, and executives
• Strong English command, oral and written

As the Director of Operations for APAC, you will be a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of retail operations, supply chain management, and customer service.

You will also -

• Lead the retail distribution strategy for Sunnystep in Singapore and across APAC region
• Manage retail store expansion plan that include but not limited to site selection, CAPEX analysis, budgeting, lease negotiation with major mall operators and high street landlord
• Take charge of in-store operations in all retail channels, that include but not limited to staffing, sales training, inventory and warehouse management, restocking, renovation and visual merchandising, logistics and sourcing, customer service, order fulfilment
• Build a high performance retail operations team that drive high sales and high NPS score
• Assist in the hiring and training front-line sales staff so that we can provide the best service standard in the industry while helping sales staff achieve their highest potential and keeping the staff satisfaction level high
• Work closely with marketing team to plan and manage in-store marketing events based on yearly campaign calendar
• Source and lead new retail business partnerships to expand our sales channels and increase our brand awareness

You MUST be or have –

• Passionate about Sunnystep products and mission, and passionate about consumer products that impact people’s lives
• At least 5 years of hands on experience developing and implementing strategic plans for large scale retail operations in a regional capacity
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve goals and objectives.
• A solid experience in supply chain management, inventory control, and logistics
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset and attention to detail
• A start-up / growth scale-up mindset, flexible, and open to adapt to changing requirements when needed

Ready to take on a senior-level finance role? If you’re a finance expert with solid experience in steering the financial strategy for a rapidly growing retail scale-up, we would love to speak with you!

You will be responsible in -

• Making sure bookkeeping is in order and adhering to proper accounting standards which includes managing of all invoices, billing, reconciliation related matters.
• Establishing and enforcing proper internal control policies for finance and company assets
• Managing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements which includes submission of monthly reports for key financial metrics analysis, expense and revenue analysis, and P & L for every revenue channels
• Managing statutory reporting, annual audit (internal & external), internal controls, tax compliance, etc
• Analyzing expense trends and identifying savings opportunities
• Managing financial ROI and key metrics for different sales channels
• Managing short term and long term budget planning and forecasting for different departments such as manpower, operations, sales, and so on.
• Manage the tax planning for the company
• Providing insights on cost/revenue structure for competitive companies in the industry and inform business decisions on where to invest next for business success
• Supporting other relevant ad-hoc duties as assigned

You MUST have -

• A Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or any relevant professional qualifications (ACCA/CA)
• At least 5 years of proven experience in a management role in finance, both internally and externally
• Have a strong ownership mentality and able to work well in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
